Have a good session tomorrow chaps. Normally I'd jump at the chance of training with a couple of fine lifters as yourselves but at this point in time, I really couldn't give a rat's ass about training!!!

Dave - you getting any grief yet from the Nazi's in the gym?


Only problem im having mate is people asking where you are!!! No other issues yet. I think the new manager is pretty chilled out, although im yet to train when only fatarse is on duty.

                      My deadlifting has been **** recently. I ll head up to 210 for a single then see how hard it was. If its easy (should be) I ll head 220. I wanna pull 235 really but im unsure it ll happen!

                      Ive been having crazy thoughts about doing snatch grip deads on a small block wearing oly shoes so I can set up better...what do you think?

                          Lol ive tried them before and didnt like them because I couldnt get the start position well, wondering if oly shoes will help...
                           
                          I also glanced back through an anciet log and discovered that when I squatted 140kg x 3 weighing like 72kg, i was lunging 110kg x 8...

                            I find looking back through my journal quite depressing as there have been times when I've had an awesome session and thought I lifted magnificently only to find it was 5-10% less than I'd previously done off-cycle

                            That's why when I start training again I'm just going to make up all the weights I use.....

                                        For the first few weeks deadlifting will be the 2nd exercise after squatting. I dont like pulling reps over a 5 really, especially as I think I need to sharpen up my technique a little so I think what I ll do based on that is:
                                         
                                        155 5 x 3, 120 3 x 3
                                        170 5 x 3, 130 3 x 3
                                        190 3 x 2, 140 3 x 3
                                        205 x 2, 120 3 x 3
                                        220 x 2
