Dave284 Just been to see the physio re: knee situation. His analysis: My back/hip flexors do all the work when I walk/do anything and my abs and glutes tend to only intervene on the odd occasion when they feel like it. This results in overly tight hips and IT band which pulls on knee cap and gives me knee pain. Simples.

The DMO show rolls on foam ball mobility stretch stupid physio activation drills skwwwwwwaaaaaattttt bar x 5 bar x 5 60kg x 1 100kg x 1 105kg x 5 120kg x 5 140kg x 10 - 2 rep PR die Complex - snatch grip deadlift w/60kg press ups w/bw KB swing, swapping hands each rep w/kevin hanging leg raise x 10 3 rounds more dying side planks, pallof press, done. Happy with the squats, all good reps. Last max effort squatting before the comp.

MT/Sugden classic Log (1st time ever) 43kg x 1 53kg x 1 63kg x 1 73kg x 1 *insert bigger log* 80kg x 1 90kg x fail because im retarded and ****ed the rep up, easily had the strength but one miss and you re out so its all on the pull from here warm ups- 70kg x 3 70kg x 1 110kg x 1 165kg x 1 185kg x 1 feeling pretty good 205kg x 1 1st: 220kg, smoked 2nd: 240kg, smoked 3rd: 250kg, not smashed but definitely some left in there for a 5kg PR Overall i came 4th by 3kg to sivvy due to my retarded logging. Still since everyone who beat me outweighed me by 30-50kg and is a strongman in pretty happy with that!

Since I made him start deadlifting two months ago he's gone from 180 to 230...not too shabby! I ll sort him out. Happy with my deadlifting, strength seems to be ok at the moment. Just going to take it easy for the next few weeks and hopefully put it all together in March.

Dave284 Overall i came 4th by 3kg to sivvy due to my retarded logging. Still since everyone who beat me outweighed me by 30-50kg and is a strongman in pretty happy with that! Cheeky cnut!! Joint 4th I'll have you know. I can tell it hurts lifting the same overall total as me. Shame you fluffed the Log Press. 90kg should have been strightforward enough and I'd have been handsomely beaten. How about next time you're down we'll have a Bench or OH Press + DL total mini-comp for offical bragging rights. Rules: - Unequipped (belt only)
- No hitching
- Not paused on bench but to chest (obviously)
- Our age difference = 1kg in body weight in my favour. So I make that about 14kg to play with. Any weight > the age difference gets removed from my total.
Winner gets to lord it up for a maximum of 1 month. Loser gets to shut the fcuk up and stop whinging for the same time. In the event of a draw, drug use will be taken into consideration. Deal?

If i thought I would be joint with you I wouldve taken a 255 deadlift for the win Next time Im going to be home is after I get back from Tour, so not a chance of me doing any decent lifting then! Im also not pulling a max deadlift or attempting a heavy bench in the ****hole taro. I say we do it like this: Squat - me Deadlift - me Bench - you Overhead - you Draw still innit   My shoulders are getting bad again at the moment (left one is not good today) so I need to sort them out before I mount an assault on the pressing front.

hockey ball mobility stretch squat bar x 5 bar x 5 60kg x 3 100kg x 1 115kg x 3 130kg x 3 147.5kg x 3 170kg x 1 opener for comp done over 2 weeks out, mainly because this now means all hard lower body training is over and i can rest up until the 28th. 4 rounds of 10 snatch grip deadlifts w/70kg 10 press ups 10 KB swings per arm 10 hanging leg raises (last 2 rounds I did 10 clean and presses per arm with the KB) 2 hours of touch. I am ****ed.

Smashed bench opener so all openers now done, comp is 2 weeks tomorrow. Take a medium week this week and very light the week after.

Should do pal your in great shape! I am def gona come try and make it as the 90 class is gona be great this year.. and it's always pretty good. Get my juices going! Personally I think you can push for a placing at the GBPF Unequippeds in Sept as we discussed last weekend.

Hopefully I ll hit a 600 at the GBPF meet. Im shooting for 570-580 in 2 weeks time so 6 months should be a good amount of time to make up the difference. What do you reckon attempts wise? 170/180/190 130/140/145 220/240/250? Maybe more on the deadlift?
