I agree mate. To be honest I've always felt that mobility was a crock of **** - soft tissue work and static stretching make me feel much better. Mobility doesnt improve my rom in anything I dont think - although it is a useful warm-up. mobility stretch oh squat w/bar 5 x 5 snatch balance 4 x 3 snatch hang 30kg x 3 40kg x 3 40kg x 3 50kg x 3 55kg x 3 55kg x 3 55kg x 3 55kg x 3 55kg x 3 floor 55kg x 2 60kg x 0 60kg x 2 Used straps on the hang stuff today so the bar didnt touch the floor and it ****ing nearly killed me. Supposed to do more but I was ****ed and short for time so the rest of the session can be slid in tomorrow.

Feel so much looser in the bottom position, glad I did the time off. Post workout bodyweight of 75.5kg...nearly BW snatch.

Haha, unfortunately for her I could beat that...just  13 - I took a few weeks to sort my mobility out mate so I can get into all the positions properly. Deadlifted, mp'ed and benched a bit during my time out. Bench began re-wrecking my shoulder and the first thing I wanted to do when I got back was oly lift, so thats what I did. I'm now 75-76kg, so may do a PL comp at this weight at some stage (WR 612.5...) but I ll be oly lifting in the immediate future. Not surprising after yesterday perhaps. Decided to play it smart on the fs and not go mental since there probably wasn't anything decent in the tank today anyway, so just did some technique stuff. Pulls felt good, I think they help me to be more consistent on the main lifts.

Going to keep the weights light on the oly **** for a while. Heavy enough to feel whats going on, but why practice with a weight that I can't be consistent on. Being in a hurry to snatch 80kg isn't going to help me out in 2 years time (when I've scheduled in 200).

Fear not dear posters, I have returned! I've not seen the point in keeping this up too closely since all I've been doing for the last three months is a load of corrective bull****. I think that I am now in a position to squat again properly with a good lumber spine. Today: pvc pipe mobility hang snatch bar work 40kg x 3 45kg x 3 50kg x 3 hang clean and jerk bar work 40kg x 3 50kg x 2 60kg x 2 60kg x 2 fs 40kg x 3 60kg x 3 80kg x 3 80kg x 3 80kg x 3 lunge, reps/leg 40kg x 5 50kg x 6 60kg x 7 70kg x 8 russian twist 5kg, 3 x 10 leg raise 3 x 5 Good session. All easy obviously, but so happy to be back at it. I can't wait to put up some numbers.

I've given up training (again). Can't be arsed at the moment. All was going swimmingly then I got ill so missed a week, stuff came up at home so missed another week then thought, **** it, Xmas is in a month and I'll have to have another week off then so I'll sack it off for now and start afresh in Jan. For a 1st cycle that sounds a little light. I think you could add in a couple of litres of Tren every other day. You might find that does the trick.......
