I agree mate. To be honest I've always felt that mobility was a crock of **** - soft tissue work and static stretching make me feel much better. Mobility doesnt improve my rom in anything I dont think - although it is a useful warm-up.

13 - I took a few weeks to sort my mobility out mate so I can get into all the positions properly. Deadlifted, mp'ed and benched a bit during my time out. Bench began re-wrecking my shoulder and the first thing I wanted to do when I got back was oly lift, so thats what I did. I'm now 75-76kg, so may do a PL comp at this weight at some stage (WR 612.5...) but I ll be oly lifting in the immediate future.

didn't have it today, just one of those days where there is no snap and I couldn't see in my head what I needed to be doing. Not surprising after yesterday perhaps. Decided to play it smart on the fs and not go mental since there probably wasn't anything decent in the tank today anyway, so just did some technique stuff. Pulls felt good, I think they help me to be more consistent on the main lifts.

stepping over the bar is just what it sounds
tke = terminal knee extension, banded thing for your VMO
prone clam = glute exercise


I might well do another PL meet at some stage but I'm still not squatting so that precludes doing very well at powerlifting unfortunately.

All was going swimmingly then I got ill so missed a week, stuff came up at home so missed another week then thought, **** it, Xmas is in a month and I'll have to have another week off then so I'll sack it off for now and start afresh in Jan.

For a 1st cycle that sounds a little light. I think you could add in a couple of litres of Tren every other day. You might find that does the trick.......
