Newsflash, today I sucked slightly less at squatting than I usually do. Id rate this performance as a 2/10 as supposed to the usual 1/10.

Squat

60kg x 3
80kg x 3
100kg x 1
107.5kg x 5
122.5kg x 3
137.5kg x 7
100kg 3 x 3 - all with a 2-3 second pause at the bottom
60kg x 10
60kg x 10

High pull from the hang

40kg x 5
60kg x 5
60kg x 5
60kg x 5

Cable abs

60kg x 10
65kg x 10
70kg x 10
50kg x 10

Squats were good tonight, I only did 130 x 7 last week. All were well below parallel, been stretching loads and got into a good place with my stance at the moment. Im still depressed that Im squatting in the 2-300lbs tho.

Bench not too fusses since im dick at benching still after swines, using 120, prob just tripple it
MP 67.5 x 6-8

137.5 x 7 = 170 according to the rep max calculator, all time rep PR is 140 x 8 so thats not too bad. Looking forward to squatting heavier.

Nice squatting Dave. How did the 137.5kg feel compared to last week's 130kg? Ball-bustingly difficult or comfortable enough for an 140kg(+) x 8 attempt next week?



Cheers champ, deload next week but I think the end of next cycle im using either 140 or 142.5. 

137.5 felt lighter than 130, bar felt like nothing. Ive been working hard on my set up and since I started training abs like 2months ago its really begun helping my squat form, I find it a lot easier to stay upright now.

Good squatting if you SUCK lol I weighed in at 87kg this morning, so I think that workout was like 1.5 bw x 7. 

I wanna squat 400lbs as soon as I can, anything less is just a bit gay really

Lol aware mate! Whats most annoying is that I squatted 160 4 years ago weighing 70kg, since then I cant put together a solid run at squatting, mostly due to my knees. Im not going to be playing rugby anytime soon, priorities and that!

Lol fully aware, but im seriously running out of time now so I figure im not going to take a single until I get in as much training as possible. After I hit 210 for 5-6 I think I ll be in a good place to take 10-20kg out of the 42.5.
