Don't for a second even dream you will get a prescription for Accutane, unless you're going to ply it from your doctor's cold lifeless fingers. I was on a course of Accutane 10 years ago, and decided to end it halfway through, because I thought I didn't really need it (the first month had gone me great already) and wasn't worth any possible risks, since I was only 17 and maybe my acne would get better with age. Big mistake!
There's been so much controversy with side effects and such since that they guard it with their lives. It literally took me until the point of my chest being horribly scarred for life (anything less wasn't deemed serious enough) before I could get THE VERY SAME DOCTOR to prescribe me another course!
It's very harsh on the liver though, so if you've done orals on your cycle, and are going to source the Accutane yourself then definitely do some liver protection stuff like Milk Thistle, NAC and whatever the other liver protection supps people use thesedays.
Personally though, I'd say save your money on the Accutane, you could put that towards your next cycle instead. The GP can't give you anything anywhere near as effective as Accutane (think I must have tried them all).
The only thing I've ever found that was truly effective for acne though is high dose Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid). I can't remember how much I used to take, I think it was 10g or 12g powder in water every day, its RANK though! But it was literally just as effective as Accutane, Ideally though you want to take it in advance but it will probably be effective for you still.
You should also try a good quality fish oil (no cheap ****, and not cod liver oil) at 30-45ml a day and between those two I think that'll sort you out personally.
