evening all, just looking for abit of advice really off of some of you guys with more experiance. im 11 stone quite muscular (mainly due to my physical job) im looking to bulk slightly and then rip. also get my 6 pack back!! ive been training for nearly 2 months going to the gym 3-4 times a week after work. i can feel, and have been told my shoulders and arms are getting bigger however the bit of fat around my belly isnt going anywhere!!in the gym i do weights then 20minutes of cardio after every session. ive just started dieting where ive cut carbs and fat in my diet and upped the protien. my diet and typical day consists of breakfast: scrambled eggs with ham or cereal with semi skinned milk lunch: chicken, or tuna sandwich snack after work/before gym: blueberries, nuts or low fat yogurt dinner: steak, chicken or fish with portion of veg evening: protien shake, fruit if im hungry i just snack on fruit or low fat yogurt. drink plenty of water. ive been taking phd pharma whey and also no xplode pre workout basicly just want to know the most effective way to loose fat around there and if my diet is right for it? what can i add or take away from my diet? supplements? or is there not enough cardio in my sessions? any feedback or advice would be great. cheers ricky

Yeah, bread and pasta are carbs to avoid when dieting or looking to reduce BF levels. However if you really want to cut up, you need to be putting in at least 3 45minute cardio sessions a week. That when the fat starts to melt.

I would say lots of cardio, cut out the fast carbs like white bread/potato's/white rice, switch from heavy weights to lower weights and lots of reps therefore toning up muscle. Squats, powerlifts are very good for the ab's not to mention obviously sit-up's/planks/supermans etc. Good luck and by the way im very impressed with your diet!
