They all sound great, I'm all for trying new meats!! We have a 'Wild foods' festival in NZ where there's some crazy things - live huhu grubs, crickets on crackers, even infected cows milk - yuck!!

My favourite is goat meat it's really lean and I love kangaroo and ostrich - so lean, great for bodybuilders

I've been eating a lot of dried sticks of buffalo (like beef jerky) meat recently - it's great as a snack, no carbs, low fat and high protein plus it takes ages to eat so it's great for people like me who had a tendency to snack on the wrong type of things!

You can get al sorts delivered now at pretty reasonable prices (~£8-10/kg) such as fresh buffalo, emu, game cuts and so on. Usually much better quality meat than in the supermarket due to the way it has been raised, fed and so on.

I used to eat kangaroo about 3 times a week when I was in Aus.

my wife's family always has 15 kgs or so of horse meat waiting in Russia for return visits, it is always good eating. it is among my favorites and prize it above moose meat, or caribou meat both of which I grew up eating.
and smoked sturgeon is another favorite, I will always love smoked salmon, having been raised on it, but when I found smoked sturgeon... it was a whole other level of deliciousness!!

I had Horse a few months back from Kahzakstah. The taste was pretty good, but it was deep fried and to greasy.

Cooked better im sure it would have been tastier. Still couldnt help feeling weird eating it.

Yeah mate my thoughts exactly cause it is good red meat but low in fat etc.
                  Try http://www.keziefoods.co.uk/
I can say from first hand experience they are good, delivery was more expensive to NI but mainlanders should be good to go and also they deliver the next day which is great!

I tried snails from Aldi, pack of 12 with garlic inside, tasted nice till i sat there thinking about the fact that i had just eaten snails... and started to feel sick.
Had racing pigeon soup too, gf's dad races them and the not so good ones get cooked (humanely). Crow sounds hideous!
Had wild boar a few times, gf is polish and they roam wild over there. Made wild boar sausages.

It might sound like I have gone slightly mad, or a little Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall but I have just had a trip home. My folks live near some woods and they have friends who shoot peasents

I hope you mean pheasents? Your friends must be very oldschool upper class!

Mate you really need to try it!
I fried up my wild boar turning once (I normally have my meats medium-well done) it was white on the inside no pink and it was so juicy I wolfed down an enitre steak without any sauce or anything, then my mum came in and said it wasn't cooked yet so I cooked the second one more but it got really tough still nice though. So if anyone orders from Kezie foods read the part on their site that says how to cook out meats!
