best deal on protein bars with low carbs ie Supreme or something similar?

as above I'm dieting pretty hard at the mo and want something like the supreme bar to cure my sweet tooth lol I know none of them are great calorie wise but at least if Im going to have a treat might as well have a good protein content and low carbs instead of a nice big galaxy caramel....'mmmmmm' ah **** I hate dieting lol 

CNP bars are good on protein and calories, you can usually pick them up from a H and B in bulk when theyre a month from sell by date for a pound per bar if you say you'll buy a load.

To be honest all bars have carbs in them in some form or another - some are just cleverly hidden on the label. Think about how a typical 80g bar with 20g protein would work with no carbs - I know its not literally carbs+fat+protein= bar weight but there is clearly some clever labelling going on in the 'low carb' bars!

The low carb ones will use polyols instead of normal carbs.

never heard of 'polyols' before just did a quick search and don't seem a bad option to be in the bars no? or is someone gona tell me now they're as bad as normal carbs????
