      Hi Kerry,
My reply can come some time after you posted the question, but I hope it can help. I know how irritating cellulite is and I tried everything in my life to remove it. I think I was born with it as I had it ever since i can remember! In the last year i have been undergoing some treatments (all of the treatments that are available on the market I think  ) and the only thing that worked for me that I could actually see improvement (without waiting months and spending a fortune on useless packages) was eximia and this lipoglaucin cream. Now i cannot go without it as i am worried the cellulite will come back... but at least I found something eventually, so i can recommend!

What's your caffeine intake like? And do you smoke?

Dry body brushing before bed helps me massively

Dry body brushing is AMAZINGLY effective* when administered by someone other than yourself!

My 'cellulite'...   I think it should just be called arse fat which would put quite a few cosmetic companies out of business but what the hey.... looks far worse when I have less muscle in that area - muscle pushes out the fat and skin which makes the appearance of said area MUCH improved.

Topical creams, and I have tried them ALL.. including the spendy clay and electrodes torture.. improve the appearance temporarily.

However, so does drinking loads of water, less coffee, increasing the muscle mass in that area, fake tan and using correct posture!

Right you can all killl me now but I've never had cellulite - well not on my legs, I do sometimes get something similar on my stomach though (it's where I tend to hold fat more than my legs) if I let my bodyfat get any higher than 25%(never been higher than 28% I will add).

Reducing bodyfat levels through good training(weights and cardio) helps my stomach, as does cutting back on alcohol and sugary foods. Never tried brushing - don't fancy it on the sensitive tummy area, perhaps I should!

Have noticed women lose their leg cellulite whilst prepping for competition so I'm guessing it is a function of bodyfat levels as much as genetics etc.
I am not sponsored by anyone but I have now found a protein powder I really, really like!

You just have to throw everything at it and find out what actually works for you! Cycling, stairmaster and lunging/stepping up EVERYWHERE I go works best for me... gets me a few strange looks, but works for me!

Arse fat visably worse on women due to thinner connective tissue in the area (for that yawnsome process of giving birth!) Thinner connective tissue means you get the horrid 'peel' effect. A balanced hormonal state.. i.e. not yo-yo dieting, not cutting out entire food groups or allowing self to become massively over OR underweight should go a long way to maintaining a strong connective tissue that will, at least, MASK this area of fat!

                  hi chrissie
thanks for the reply hun x
i never knew woman had thinner connecting tissue in that region! ive leanrt something new today!! :O)
stepping , step ups lunges, will be non stop from now on! lol
would you reccomend the lunges and step ups to be weighted with some light / heavy dumbels or barbells?

i dont usually go over 9stone so would say i dont go massivly over weight being 5ft 3inches but at  this weight its tends to be at its worst so i try sticking to 8stone though it sometimes feel like a constant battle! lol

                  cheers

Sounds like you are super healthy and doing all the right things.

Im a bit evangelical about Ashtanga yoga - which from my experience absolutely SLAYS cellulite - its all the lunging and squatting type stuff, holding poses for a good long time as part of a continuous flowing sequence.  Im 42 and have no cellulite WOOHOO When I started yoga over 10 years ago I had loads (even just above my knees YACK).  I fancy I could feel the damn stuff being obliterated during warrior pose, chair pose, etc.
Cant do Ashtanga so much now cos it aggravates my shoulder, but I try to keep up the Hatha yoga which holds similar poses for longer - and of course its lunges and SQUATS, SQUATS, SQUATS all the way.
GOOD LUCK - DIE CELLULITE DIE!!
