well, thats a few more days out of the way, weight and condition seem stable, which is a good thing!  only a few more days untill i get a hinged pot, and some small movement in my elbow.  am getting a really weird twitching all the time in my arm which i cant control, but i guess its because im not moving it

Doh, forgot to check it came through!! Glad it's arrived safely with you, keep me posted.

Just to update you on the other lad who tore his arm that went on Udos, John Buckland (reason I thought we could help you!), is now nearly 100% recovered.

I spoke to him briefly on friday and he's about 6 weeks ahead of schedule on his recovery - he went to 1 physio session and got told what to do, went to the next and was told he didn't need to do anything more, suffice to say his consultant was blown away and has written a letter to the effect. John didn't use any pain killers/anti-inflamms at all, just diet.

He said he's going to write up what went on, so I'll drop you a copy when he does.

As above - chin up!!

it arrived the next morning mate!- fantastic!
thats great news mate!  i cant us anti imflamatory drugs and the like, so to hear someone else doing well is ver positive news!

really easy to incoporate into diet, and though very early days im feeling good about it, more on that as the weeks go by :-)

hi mate! i thought i had learnt that over the past few years, but obviously not enough!

sitting some courses at the moment, with the company rachel works for,  getting onto the workshops  for the biomechanics, VERY interesting stuff, shows how alot of the things we have learnt over the years and been taught is flawed, and actually leads to more injurys. i thnk the biggest one being the trend for core work, but as i go through the course and the reading, it becomes apparent how wrong this is for most people.  awesome courses.

just on with learning origins and insertions for the entire body now. . . . . :-)

Glad to hear about the condition stablising mate.

Also, I remember touching on biomechanics and insertions and origins and it's so facinating.  It blows my mind learning stuff like this.  I must make more time to brush up on it.

One thing I meant to ask you.  After reading the PCT bit you wrote in IB's journal.  How did you get so clued up on the endicrine system?  It's like you know more than Dr's!!

if your ever looking for more courses mate, i would recomend the one day biomechanics workshops they do,  would be very good for your clients.  its a pretty new thing, but the screens for pelvic, spine and nerve problems and prescribed exercises in the first day have a huge impact on most people with all kinds of back, shoulder, hamstring etc etc problems. i have been doing them for a few months and no longer suffer with my back where physio and chiro made no difference, its also got rid of most of my shoulder problems, as they are all linked.   worth 8 cpd points as well lol

just personal interest mate, reading medical text books, research, talking to people, reading forums, experimenting with my own use, having a doctor that will do regular bloods so i can see what works,  all combines to give a reasonable understanding!  stll alot more i could learn though, but im more focused on other learning at the moment, as i dont think a greater knowledge in that area would benefit my bodybuilding

fell off a R1 and his elbow hit a tree at 100mph lol

it took 3 weeks for the quacks to realise it wasnt connected as the xrays couldnt penetrate his dense arm and he wouldnt fit inside the other scan machine thing

but his arm is back upto 18.5inch 3 weeks after pot now, not quite same as good arm but got awesome cuts in tri and bi!, it looked like a girls arm when the pot came off but it seemed to grow with every rep there after.

he has been doing the physio himself to get full movement back and its really painfull stretch but if you keep doing it it gets better good.

just make sure you dont take any AAS that can decrease collagen synth.

and make sure you get enough glucosamine etc aswell as your 03 and the likes

have all the suppliments in my diet, am off everythin AAS wise at the moment. decided to have a total break for a few months, seeing as i will be losing muscle anyway.  will be offset by not doing much or burning many calories but keeping diet high.

interesting mate, cheers. i never got much from eq when i ran it, but at the time i was looking for gains.  not too bothered about shutdown, though ED could well be a problem on deca only, though i think the same can happen with eq anyway

hinged pot on today, arm feels awfull, cant support the weight of the pot.  huge amount of muscle loss on my bicep and tris, arm would probably measure 15 inch, and soft.  was 17 1/4 cut before this

cheers jack, rack and kitty!  have devised myself a little  rehab routine this morning, to slowly stretch out the arm and work towards getting to the limits set on the hinge, cant extend it that much yet.  also movibg the arm to get the brachiallis working,  a little bit on bicep movement,  and by lying on my back elbow pointing up, i can extend the arm up to work the tricep and get some blood flowing.  over the next few days im going to do the tricep move with some light tension to keep some cns connection and base strenth in it.

so feeling a bit more positive.

rack-  i had gained nearly half a stone of lean muscle since nottingham, and bf had actually dropped a tiny bit as well.  fair to say that pre injury i was very happy with where i was, hence why i was so positive about doing well in the u90kg's this year!

well, forwards to next year.   legs of a giant commences next week, if i can add a couple of inches, mainly to hamstring, a good chunk to the medialis, and some good extra calf, then it will actually have made the task slightly easier, as progress on legs has been slow the past months.
