another 11 hour day today  :-(((

only got 45 minutes in the gym, and with missing last nights session, just had a quick run through of chest, back and tris.  Still no time for cardio, really miss doing it.

Just when i thought i was back in the groove and on a roll, i have a date for my hernia operation, wednesday the 13th of january.  so another couple of weeks off.  Getting pissed off now, have so much work to do for next year, and pretty much during december and january i have got nowhere, will probably take me february to get back what i lose after the op, so thats 3 months in total wasted.  BUGGER!

i think your looking at it all wrong mate, its not 3 months wasted, once you have reached a certain muscle size it will be easier to get back to that size and with the op out the way it will be time to train harder. i know its frustating but try and look at the bright side. i,m sure you have the dedication and will make you come back stronger and better, i,m no diet expert but 100g of whey seems alot how come you have so much for breakfast but the diet looks good you must have a fast metabolism.

Out of interest, what's with pineapple in the breakfast? Is it for digestion purposes?

titch- cheers mate, hard to see the positives but your right of course.  guess the positive attitude is taking a bashing at the moment with all the stuff thats going on! it is alot of whey, but even at that im still not gaining weight, pretty much steady at 14 stone give or take a couple of pounds.  so i must still be lacking something in the diet.  But as it is i cant eat anymore of anything, so it will have to stay that way!

bigjack- its just affordable, but it does mean sacrifices to buy the food.  i cant remember the last time i bought clothes, cd's, dvd's etc etc.  i dont really go out, i dont drink.  if only it showed in my physique!

flick-  yeah the pineapple really seems to help me get the food down,  i struggle like mad eating that amount of food.  Plus it tastes yummy, and its extra fruit, so a winner all round!

busy weekend this weekend, had a hard day at work saturday, 8 hours breaking a reinforced concrete floor out.  then i got home, and fitted radiators in my newly plastered extension, and started the wiring.  Today i have been decorating it.  get the new kitchen next week, but i have a mental 3 days at work to go!

IMO no.  Some people just need a lot to grow and if you shop around carefully, you can keep the cost right down

You probably find the average cr@p a family buys costs more per week. How much is pizza to a bag of rice? How much a kentucky to a bag of protein!!etc
