I really like THICK shakes so I use very little water, does it matter or not? I hate hanging around sipping stuff so I usually down it. I usually down my 1000 calorie oatshakes too, they are also very thick.

I sometimes spoon the whey into my mouth, but I have to make sure there's plenty of saliva in my gob before doing so lol

No difference as there's no calories in water, only difference is the taste. I rather a thicker shake too.

My preference is probably a 1:5 ratio of powder to water so 125ml water per 25g.

No issue to you - there is a limit when the powder may not mix so well but simple to remedy by adding a touch more water.
An Alterego is a paradoxical escape.

As above no difference. But keep well hydrated. Most people dont drink enough water.

Digestion may take longer having thicker shakes..

Only point I would consider TBH.
