Nice One Liz, I just need to add my mate who won the Intermediates over 80kg his name was Andy(Ace) Taylor I don't know if you saw him but he has monstrous Quads massive sweep. I had to leave after the Under 90kgs another mate finished 4th in that class also another very good class. Cos I had an early start at work this morning... so I never saw the heavyweight class - saw them at prejudging I had Paul Delahaye as the winner

I am very dissapointed with the results. In the fitness class, Leigh Gardner should have come second. Liz deserved to be first, or it could also have been a very close one between Liz and my mate Leigh. But guess what Leigh came 4th..WHAT?? The girls who came 2nd and 3rd were not better than Leigh!! Even the crowed know it and were booing the results.. I was so pd off at the results you will not believe it.. Its all about politics.. I rest my case!!!

Even the crowed know it and were booing the results.. I was so pd off at the results you will not believe it.. Its all about politics.. I rest my case!!! yes that was a strange one but you need to look at the score sheets to understand the results. like last year i felt i should have won until i saw the scoring and then it made a bit more sense. although im also interested to see how it worked out for leigh to come 4th because i dont get it either at the moment. i dont see how it was politics because the girls in 2nd and 3rd arent attached to any of the big names in the efbb as far as i know. so maybe seeing the score sheet would clarify things one thing to remember is that the crowd do mainly only see the evening routine round so they are basing their judgements just on that often without realising the body round was earlier in the day. im not justifying the decision because like i said im a bit confused by it too (BUT i didnt actually watch the routines so i cant judge..but i know what leighs routines are normally like (good) )

Yep i think leigh is wating for the score sheets to be posted on the net..i think.. Also I think she did pretty well on the body round. And I am not trying to bias at all. Even if she came third it would have been a different story but 4th. Any way it done and dusted and there is nothing much that can be done. I thought I had to post this as soon as I got back from nottingham because I am fuming.. Any way well done Liz..

Congrats to all MT'ers and everyone else that competed. I got pics of just about everyone that competed (filled a 1 gig memory card) and was dead centre on the 5th row, so have some great ones. How do I put the full set on line like I've seen done? otherwise I'll burn some CDs off and send em out free - if anyone wants one that competed just drop me an email darrensherlock@mickhart.com . I also got loads of Liz and Avril as I recognised them so kept snapping away but wasn't sure what the others competing on here looked like? Have to say Liz's routine was absolutely amazing - WOW! wished I'd brought my camcorder too but doubt the filmspeed would have kept up with you! Also have to say the winner of Avril's class although conditioned IMO didn't have the muscle mass for heavies bodybuilding class. I didn't think Nanu was as good as I've seen and although Rob Feasy got 3rd his condition blew him away. I also thought Lee Spencer might have got the overall but looking more closely at Paul Delahay he was shredded it was just his tan wasn't that great and made him appear not as good as he was. His legs were just something else though, absolutely hugh, even Kerry Kayes made comments on them and he's been around Pros for 20+ years. There were a few decisions I didn't quite agree with but on the whole I thought the judging was pretty fair and most classes came out exactly how I predicted. Unfortunately it was't the year for my mmate Dave Clarke who didn't place for the evening show. Just didn't get his condition right, although a week ago he looked great. Managed to meet a few people but was here there and everywhere so didn't get chance to introduce myself to most and I think I missed the meet up by the Sci Mentor stand! It was just really busy when I walked past so didn't really have the space to hang around there as everyone was piling past at the time. I saw Avril outside when I first got there but you were busy chatting and I thought I may see you again later but didn't so sorry for not introducing myself. Really good standard though and has made me realise that after my next Novice comps in Nov/Dec I really need to take 2+ years as opposed to 1 yr off for bulking up to make the heavies!

Its Joanna Thomas reporting, glad to see Paul won the procard and I have told him to come out to the US and from there I can introduce him to many people he needs to met to get known. I'd love to see him get into the Mr O next year, someone mentioned his colour was off well I work with protan in many large shows so he will be spot on next time. Good to be on this board. Jo

Welcome to MT Joanna, as dirtyvest says, it is an honour to have you here. Have checked out your sight a few times, you're doing well in the US, good to have you on board. Well done to Avril and Liz on your placings, can't wait to see your pics.

well done liz you looked great and had an awesome routine. Really nice meeting you and avril on the day and quite a few MT'ers like James , barny just too many to mention. but i think you should have done better in the placing avril, i think there might have been something going on there, but just know you would have achieved alot more with the first place then the girl who did, she looked good but would be would find it very hard as a pro to do much i think. well done to james lewellin who deserved his first place, looked awesome and can pose to his advantage well but i think wade stafford should have got third place though Tom looked really good and sharp but his symetry is off, compared to wade who was full with good symetry and fullness just a little softer than he had hoped.
