Elite Strongman Promotions would like to announce that we have reached an agreement to host the strongest man competition being held at the Body Power Expo on the 9th and 10th of May at the NEC
Here 10 of the countries strongest man will compete in 8 events over 2 days in front of the Body Powers Expos expected attendance of 25,000 people.
This makes it THE biggest expected attendance at a strongest man event in British history!!
The athletes picked to compete are as follows
1) Terry Hollands, WSM 3rd place 07, Britains Strongest Man 07, UK Strongest Man 05
2) Laurance Shalai, WSM competitor 08, BSM Finalist 07,08
3) Adam Townsend, Englands Strongest Man 05
4) Simon Flint, World Strongman Cup competitor, UKSM finalist 04,06,07, Midlands Strongest man 07
5) Dave McAneney, UKSM finalist 08, ESM runner up08, North of Englands Strongest man 08
6) Dave Meer, UKSM finalist 04,05,06,07, BSM competitor, ESM runner up 06, midlands SM 06
7) Rob Frampton, UKSM finalist 07,08
8) Shawn Kenny, UKSM finalist 08
9) Spencer Hyland, World Strongman Cup competitor, UKSM finalist 04,08, BSM competitor
10) Dean Slater. midlands strongest man 2008, BSM finails 2008

Cross walk 210kg max distance
Axe Hold 30kg each hand max time
Big Van Deadlift 300-320kg reps
Day 2
Max Log Press
Tyre Flip 400kg fastest time
Atlas Stones 110,130,150,170,190kg
Back to Back tug-o-war
Please come and support this event, it is a big opportunity for British Strongman to get noticed by some of THE names in the Nutrition and Health industry, and with the rumors of the cancellation of BSM this year British Strongman needs all the help it can get to survive these tough times.
Plus its going to be one hell of a show!!
