fast acting vs long esters

whats the benefits of running fast acting meds?

i see some guys running 1g of test-e or cyp but only 100mg of prop eod (so 400mg a week sometimes)

so does the prop just work a lot better than test-e?

i know test is test, but wondered why guys dont run very high doses of prop compared to enan?

Main reason is because test prop is very hard to suspend in oils at high concentrations without it crashing, so if running 1g a week would mean 10ml of oil pw!! Short esters are convient for shorter cycles as they kick in alot faster than long estered test.

Arnold, I think the OP is questioning the fact that people appear to use smaller amounts when using short esters and they work, they get gains etc for the short cycles -- yet when they choose to run a longer cycle then almost double the doseage, therefore what is the ned to double the doseage if the short esters and lower dose is effective?

It's something to do with the weight of the ester. Prop can carry more active substance per ml then say enanthate.

For example

100mg of prop = 80mg of actual test due to ester weight
100mg of enanthate = 70mg of actual test due to ester weight.

I'm no chemist so those figures are very rough but you get the idea.
