Mike will be checking if the site we've used the last few years (Nr Whitfield, outside Gloucester) is available when we want. I've agree to a long weekend as opposed to 2 days (1 a lighter first timers, as per this topic and one as per what we usually hold) because the idea of two weekends humping the gear down at dawn and back again over 2 days (so 4 if we did two weekends) does not appeal to me LOL. It's damned hard work. WHEN he gets the reply he needs he'll post more. But as you'll have to around July to prep don't fret he he's away working and not posting for a few more days.

It'd be a first if you did the comp in a grooms outfit and she was by the side in a wedding dress. Would I need to buy a new hat? :)

As we're still waiting on confirmation of venue events may change but... have a look (search) for Severn Valley to see what's been done in previous years. I'd suggest all round training for another month or two and then event specific work 1-2 times week from that point forward. Mike will announce events soon.

Due to bloody Virgin's ansaphone service being **** I only got a message from yesterday today (I wouldn't mind but I was in!!). Anyway Mike confirmed that the two events will be taking place at the same location we've used for the past few years on the 19th (first timers) and 20th (Novice/as per) of June at Whitminster Football/Cricket Club Grounds Whitminster Playing Fields, School Lane, Whitminster GL2 7N (info etc to follow).
