Walk of pain is both hands. We use a old milk churn loaded with small plates and gravel to whatever weight. The handles are about 1/2 to 3/4 and as it's difficult to stand up both your hands and the back gets fried (the pain part) and then you go, go, go. See if it's on YT - it's great to watch and you'll find yourself willing on a rival cos it's torture to do.

Think the log will be a knockout event for max weight - We all try 80 k , if you dont lift it your out and if you do you go on to the next round at a higher weight , this carries on untill a winner is found - thats my understanding of a round robin anyway ( could be totally wrong lol ) - The walk of pain is an awkward object ( milk churn ) carried in both hands for max distance without dropping - Im gonna be there too mate and hopefully another guy from neath , should be a great day - Take it easy chris

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUrwKctMfo8 Walk of pain. Nuff said. Round robin. is you all line up and take the first lift if you pass the lift you go to the back of the line if you fail you are out when we get back to the first guy in the line the weight goes up and we start agian the shorter the que the less rest you get and the heavyer the log becomes it's quite fast paced. max weight pressed wins.

i have always been interested in having a go at a strongman comp but the events are 'too heavy' this seems ok, with me only being 83 k bw always not heavy enough later on in the year would be good for me. Only got back in serious at xmas
bodyweight 70k lifts in comp snatch 132.5k cl+jk 160k 78k lifts in training sn 145k cl+Jk 170 front squat ATG 185k x1
