i buy mp's total protien which has flaxseed in it so i was woundering about buying a diffrent blend and adding in some flaxseed is this the same also were is cheaper for it i found this Linwoods - Milled Flaxseed, Sunflower, Pumpkin, Sesame seeds and Goji Berries in holland and barrets for 500g £5 its a mix of seeds is this ok or is pure flaxseed better Linwoods - Milled Organic Flaxseed its same price and weight but only flaxseed thanks

buy them both, i love all the linwoods varieties, yummy bear in mind that the flaxseed in mp products is like powder, the linwoods one is more coarse, and not easy to drink in shakes

depends what you want from it, flaxseeds are much richer in O3, so IMO is probably the better choice for most people, but it depends where you stand on the omega ratios necessary i guess! Id personally choose pure flaxseed. Pumpkin and sunflower seeds are fairly tasty and big enough to chew (flaxseeds arent really) so can be added into other parts of the diet easily if extra fats from those sources are desired

I use the Aldi version, it's about one third of the cost of the Linwoods version here in Ireland.
