curent goals are continued increase of strength in deadlift mainly and also squat. also am feeling my way into some extra cardio and targeted carbs to gently drop a little bf% before a possibly assisted (first time) lean, clean bulk in a couple of months time. althogh tbh strength is really my priority as long as i'm looking reasonable for uni!

Hey buddy Likin' the idea of a cut. You don't really need to, but it would be nice to shred down to your hard earned muscle for the summer. I personally would focus more on the diet than the cardio side of it, as that is always the most important factor and it can be tricky losing fat (both are obviously important, but nutrition is the key). As cutting is far from pleasant, you wouldn't want to waste a week without losing any fat. A lot of people are anal when it comes to cutting and for good reason. I think I'm past that stage personally, so would probably just go by feel. I think that when carbs are limited one can be slightly less anal about diet. TKD is definitely the right way to do it IMO mate. You should look awesome by the end of it. RE: a cycle, you seem like you've got your head screwed on right, and you've got a good starting point. You said you've researched it, but like you say, just do some more research for a few months, decide how much bodybuilding means to you, whether you'd ever want to compete in a natural feddy, potentially risk your health etc before you make the decision. I'm not trying to put you off, but they're all things you must consider. I'm sure that I'll cross over to the dark side, but that will be years down the line. You're also right about the uni thing; I thoroughly regret getting so wasted for my 1st term, but peer pressure's a motherf*cker. Where are you studying mate and what course? Laters, TTT
I'm a wizard of the word, that's what you heard And anything else is quite absurd

i eat pretty clean most the time tbh, just i will be away this weekend then have my 21st next weekend so it's hard work to keep on top of it at the mo, i just try and eat when i can (usually every 3 hours max, i'm getting 7or8 good clean meals a day) and when i'm hungry getting the right protein at the right time of the day carbs targeted, i don't have any unnecessary carbs, and fats are moderate i guess, maybe need to be lowered after a couple of weeks. off to Leeds Met. to study nutrtition, they have a very good acreditted course there and i have met the course leader at the info day which was great. i think it's unlikely i will ever compete but would love to see what modest levels of AAS would do for my physique and strength, certainly won't try a proper test cycle first time round. i'm not a habitual or addictive person in nature so i dont think i will ever end up doing such massive amounts as to cause long term damage and i intend to take all necessary precautions. However a lot of research is still to be done and i need to know i have straight run in which to get the most form any possible cycle. i'm off to bed mate, will catch up with where your at in your journal tomoro or after the weekend matey, cheers for the post. good to have you back. you should know i've been doing lots of reading on training and diet (as always) and have become ever more knowledgeable and powerful since you have been gone! lol!

Hey matey, hows the wrist today, have you heard anything about getting it sorted? EDIT - Just wondered if you have ever tried any or these - http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/BBHackSquat.html Any good?, Would they take some of the pressure off my ankle instead of normal squats?

EDIT - Just wondered if you have ever tried any or these - http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/BBHackSquat.html Any good?, Would they take some of the pressure off my ankle instead of normal squats? have been offered an arthroscopy for the wrist so the can go and look inside, however i've heard it isn't as minimally invasive as i had thought and could well have me out for months while they have to work on it more than once as the first one will just be to 'look' with no promise of anything being fixed. so i've decided to wait till it really bad, just can't afford all that time out over summer before uni. i can minimise how bad it is by not doing certain exercises and keeoing it strapped tight in the gym. as for the BB hack squat, nope never tried them i only knew this version of the hack squat http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/SLHackSquat.html you'll only know if you try it mate!
