Every one is different I realise that. I gain weight very easy all I need to do is drink 2 or 3 Whey protein drinks and I gain weight. If I started taking in 7000 cals a day jesus I would be as fat as a house. This is where people get confused on here they look at posts like stones and think they need to eat every thing in sight to grow yes they do grow but they also pile on the fat. People need to be sensible with their food they read in bodybuilding mags and on forums that they need to eat eat and eat again to gain muscle so they stuff their face with food and gain muscle but its covered in blubbery fat. Yes they look big with their clothes on but take their top off and its just blubber. Also when people dont gain as fast as they want the advise they get is eat more EH HELLO wake up and smell the coffee The reason their not gaining is that they are prob either Not training enough or They are Over Training. In both cases Eating more food is not going to cure the above problems. IMO People rely to much on their food intake instead of training. In the gym I go to you see people who go on about how much food they eat and how many Whey shakes they consume a day. But these people never seem to change their apperence they look the same week in and week out. And do you know why because they worry so much about their food intake but they are not training hard enough they do a million and one bicep curls and lateral raises and wonder why there not getting bigger. They never do hard heavy compound exercises These are the exercises that make you grow. I think people are quick to blame not enough food for there failings rather than admit they are not training hard enough. Like I said earlier you only gain a very little bit of muscle a week so non stop eating will do nothing but gain fat. Its better to eat a little more than maintence each day if your not gaining weight increase it slighty not by 1000 cals or more.
