how many grams in desert spoon 05 April 2006 15:04 (permalink)
I've just received my order from all in 1 and i don't have any measuring scoops and they also don't provide them.Does anyone know how many grams there is in a desert spoon?

          Well a heaped table spoon is roughly 10g. But it depends on the weight of the product itself. Different products will have a different weight.

          So i would guess that your dessert spoon would be about 7g each, roughly

            thats like saying how many pounds are in a litre, a desert spoon is a measure of volume, gramms are a measure of weight the 2 are not directly transferable, it will depend on the density of what you are measuring

                The guideline amount for a heaped spoonful is as follows, but obviously there is variation for different products:

                1 tsp - 5 g
                1 dsp - 10g
                1tbsp - 15g
