Wayne Cowdrey DonPaulo666, is that squat raw? No, single ply centurian about two sizes too big, lol. I've done 300kg and could do more now with just a belt and wraps but I like the hip/core stability you get from the suit.
Squat: 363kg Bench: 195kg Deadlift: 300kg @ (currently 114kg) ...soon to be obliterated!

T0NY My bench being spotted 300kg +. I heard your spotter was doing a set of partial deads and had worked up to 150kg on the final set. Two birds, one stone, some feat!

DonPaulo666 Well done! Thank you, funnily enough when I train alone my bench is only 170. My point being what is the point of having a spotted bench PB?

I've no idea, If my spotters touched the bar without my say so, they would need it surgically removed from their sphincters! They help me off with the bar, that's it, hands are kept away.

My bench and shoulder press is very weak in comparrison to my deads / squats - see sig. Currently shoulder press 34kg for 7, couldn't imagine doing the 45's for a long time. I personally think your bench is a 'bit' low compared to your shoulder press if it's a single and shoulder press is for reps.

When you say 45kg DB shoulder press - are you saying 45kg a dumbell or 45kg total? me as of last week 100kg unspotted bench 155kg dead 60kg military I think I could pinch out more of a bench but I have a fear of maiming without a spot.

My point being what is the point of having a spotted bench PB? Surely a spotter doesn't help you lift? Therefore you still lift the max weight yourself? On the rare occasions I get a spotter he guides the bar off and then hovers incase of a fail.

Indeed, I've seen many people claim a new pb when a spotter has aided them, even if it's slight it's no pb! Spotting is fine for a liftoff and saftey precautions, they shouldn't add to the lift though.

shoulder pressed 120kg on smith machine seated before, 260kg deadlift max, 150kg bench x2, squat = crap. Done at approx 90kg bodyweight.
