excellent, wasnt expecting to get in the gym today, im looking after the little one all week on my own, he went to sleep early so I took the baby monitor into the garage and got on with it!

Squats
I decided to back the weight off a bit this week as I felt my form could be better mainly that I wasnt pushing through my heels. so
90kgs    12/ 9/ 7
great! much better, felt like I was really working quads much more than the previous weeks despite the less weight

DB bench
30kgs
6 quite comfortable
6  not bad
6 ouch! only just managed the 6th, it was a shaker!!
4   shame wanted 5

incline BB press
45kgs
6  -  ouchy!!!! chest was obviously knackered!
40kgs   7
40kgs  8
interesting!   the weight is rubbish but rome wasnt buit in a day!

chins
7/6/5    pretty pleased with this! although I want a few more obviously! want to get the first set into double figures fairly soon

whilst packing away I thought I'd throw in BB row just to hit the back a bit more
40kgs   8/7/6     wow this felt so much better than it used to I think just because im doing it after the chins!

also a nice new bit of cardio has been discovered! weve bought a back pack that the little boy can go in, so stick the about 12kg boy in it and walk fast with the dog! 35mins yesturday and only 20 mins today cus of weather, same again next 2 days coming!
my journal, come say hello - I need all the help I can get!

today I managed to do another - "quick the littleones asleep get in the gym and be as quick as possible"

        OHP
40kgs  10/8/6     pleased to of managed this! an extra 2kgs

        deadlift
        110 - 4
        130 - 1
        155 - 1
170 - 4!!  although I say 4 it was 2 then about 20secs rest then about 40secs rest before the 4th but 4 in total is still great!

        CG press
48kgs    10/8/5   nearly! couldnt get the 6th up!

        supersetted with

        Drag curls
        25kgs
        10/9/8   up to 27

I felt tired but really glad I made myself do it and the results were pretty good

unfortunatly I managed to pick up a cold which has led to a gap in proceedings which is a shame as I was starting to string a few sessions together! Im better now and got in the gym yesturday

          Squats
          90kgs
12/10/8   this was good, an imrovement and feels so much better now Im concentrating on pushing through the ankles wil add just a couple of kgs next time so as not to cause me to start pushing through toes

          DB bench
          30kgs
6/6/6/4    I had before I started hoped to get 6/6/6/5 but I was no where near, felt quite weak

          chins
8/7/5  damn, should of got 6 on the last, but its still an improvement,

Im going to try and also now tidy up my eating which has got a little bit messy and lazy!

well there we go, i fell off the rails again! not to bad and ive done a bit between the last wrkout and now, I really got into my cardio and I completed a triathlon coming 70th out of 138 which I dont think is to bad for my first attempt! need to start recording again, its been a while since Ive lifted weights so 2 days ago

              squat:
75kgs 12/12/12       went a fair bit lighter than previously and glad I did really good feel etc and have had doms like nobodys buisness since!

              DB bench
25kgs   10/8/7    a fiar bit lighter but more reps so I think I might keep the reps here for a bit see how I get on

              chins
              6/5/4

just pleased I made the time to get in the gym again, must try and keep it up!!

my work is now 1.5 miles away so ive been using my bike, where I can on day shifts im doing longer rides home, so thursday was 6miles. yesturday I managed a little run, not long but it all helps!

                  today
                  SQUATS
                  85kgs, 12/10/8
                  happy enough with progress,

                  DB Bench
25kgs  11/8/7      had really hoped for 12 on the first round. but its still one more rep in total that I managed last week.

                  chins
                  6/5/5
really not happy with this but just need to keep plugging away!

its quite nice where Ive had a break that Im not putting myself under any pressure about how heavy the weights are im just concentrating on getting it right but still pushing myself!
