is there any room for full fat cheese in a weight loss diet? 01 February 2012 13:56 (permalink)
i picked up some full fat philadelphia cheap today in morrisons but i'm now wondering if there's any room for it in a fat loss diet?

my diet's not exactly high in fat at the minute, so i was thinking of using it as a way of getting some added fat into my diet. even if i just use a little bit of it per day (thin layer on a ricecake), it's not going to be counter-productive, is it?

If you can fit it into your energy amounts for the day, yes.
Take fat from somewhere else, or reduce other nutrients such as protein and carbs to get more fat in.

    Energy deficit = weight loss.
No one particular food will cause a magical reaction in your body halting weight loss.

full fat cheese is allowed in the atkins diet, so i asume if you reduce your carbs then maybe there would be room for this in your diet some where.

Reducing anything is isn't necessary considering you could use it as a fot source within your diet.
