rather than discussing what has upset either myself or her, it always turns into a massive argument about loads of other bullshine....like not filling the dishwasher correctly,..... ANYTHING else she can think of there and then, or some other tosh, and ends up lasting 2 hours,...

a mate of mine says its classic "deflection" when its something im pissed off about, cause she doesnt want to admit being in the wrong - and when its something shes pissed off about she uses other "things" to back it up cause she knows just how lame the 1st "thing" would be on its own...

Arguing with a Women is like making and eating Scorpion Ice Cream.

Its pointless but seemed like the right thing to do at the time but in the end youll be left with a bitter sting and no idea why you figured it was a good idea in the first place

i do exactly that, i can't be arsed with arguing so i just sit back and take the ear bashing etc. 10 mins later all is fine again and usually she will apologise for being a bitch anyway lol

Totally agree. Never had a blazing row with my hubbie yet and I'm always right .....I can't be bothered either now so it does work

I break out the irritation dance,if mines left to go into one it can last 2-3 days,so letting it pass wont work.

I have the worlds most irritating song and dance,it cant fail cos either she will crack up laughing or get more wound up by this than the original sin,either way im off the hook.

By verse 64 its all over,if the kids arent about it usually comes with a strip to the kecks at the end,then i pull my kecks up really high and run about.

When its all passed i just say "yes the dance is nonsense and a waste of time ,and it winds you up,that EXACT same as the arguments,get my point?

Fart everywhere you can.
Sneeze directly onto the wall/table, then wipe it with your sleeve.
Go out, get muddy boots, then tramp back in through the house.
Open all the windows after turning the heating on.

One of these will elicit a response and you will soon be talking again.

I think we all wake up in a differing mood each day to an extent,then lifes bits and bobs,its to be expected to get stuff wrong or snap on occasion,i never hold a grudge or take it too heart,i dont even mention it or expect an apology,lets face it aint like im perfect and act perfectly all the time,so why should i expect her too.

If i have done something wrong then i take it on board and move on.

We get a lot done for us by women and they look after us so damn well,that it would drive me nuts if shoe was on the other foot so i dont mind the odd rant at all.prob deserved and good to vent IMO
