I gotta get one of those poles for my house

Did the prison food diet help you on the way to hitting target weights?

Certainly had some fun

I've gotta go and weigh-in now, plus it's that annoying ladies time where I'm bound to be holding a pound or so... But hey, gonna be brave and get weighed, keep your fingers crossed for me!

9st 7lbs gained nowt lost nowt, which isn't bad considering the weekend...

I'm neither happy or sad, just relieved and determined to have lost at least 1lb by next week

It works, not as well as my first ever time I took it when I dropped 8lbs in a week... That was such a shock I nearly fainted! Prefer it this way though where I drop weight gradually...

Counted the number of workouts I've had since xmas last night...

In 63 days, I've had 30 days working out... That's not bad but could be a better ratio. Had it not been for my break up I reckon it would have at least been 40 days...

thats not a bad scheme hitting pretty much 50% of your days, and as you mentioned there has been bits of turmoil socially in there and a Birthday.
Thanks for your advice on my training, much appreicated

Doesn't that work out as one day on one day off? I should have done 48 days if my maths serves me correctly that's 5 days on, 2 off...
Was interesting to see what my weight did in that time too...

Right I'm off to town to find some dye for my bikini

Don't you think 5 days on 2 days off is a bit much for you to sustain when you are natural and cutting??

Tis Chest n Triceps today, the eating bit's ok at the moment, just hope I can sustain it for the next 6 weeks...

Bikini, if I am ready for NABBA in April I've got a great pair of bikini bottoms (white) brought a top in Jade and need to get the two matching colour wise... The bottoms are good because they're not huge cut but they're not a thong either (not ready for that)

I don't know about 5 days on and 2 off zlaty, think it's probably what most naturals do...

I suppose it does tend to be dictated by training routine and also I am forgetting that you are not looking to make huge strength gains.

My mate that was on gear trained 6 on 1 off and did about 1 1/2 hrs a day, but he was putting more juice in than the man from delmonte.

My bikini looks fab! Just got to iron out the fabric paint now to fix it but I love the colour!!!

WEDNESDAY

I was so tired, I took some very good advice and had the night off gym. It was legs and I really needed to be on it to get some big lifts. So I'm going tonight to do legs instead.

WEDNESDAY:

06.40 tsp L-Carnitine
06.45 25min cardio run 1.51miles
07.10 Thermobol tablet
07.30 30g porridge oats, 200ml milk, 1 scoop whey

13.00 Thermobol tablet
14.00 Turkey curry casserole: 125g Turkey, 100g sweet potato, 50g new potato, 100g tinned toms, tsp curry sauce, tbs curry powder
17.00 XS Pro bar -contains 12g of fat!!! Will be looking for an alternative even though it's low carb... Having cottage cheese and crackers today instead
20.00 125g Turkey, 100g broccolli, 125g cottage cheese
22.15 Thermobol tablet

Again a fine day's eating, except a slip up with a square of Turkish noughat... Looking forward to 20g bar of Green & Blacks this Sunday as a treat. Really want to weigh in now I'm post time of month but gonna hold off til Monday...

THURSDAY

Leg Extensions
20kgs 12 reps
35kgs 10 reps
40kgs 10 reps

Leg Press
(the 45degree press was loaded up from some previous inconsiderate mofo so I used the vertical leg press instead. Was scared of dropping the weights on me so only used low weights but it bloody hurt my butt!)
50kgs 12 reps
50kgs 10 reps, 2 sets

Lunges
20kgs 10 reps each leg
25kgs 10 reps each leg, 2 sets

Seated Calf Raises
25kgs, 10 reps, 3 sets (easy peasy but I'm not used to training calves, wasn't sure how heavy to go...)

Lying Hamstring Curls
15kgs 10 reps
15kgs 8 reps
15kgs 6 reps
Again used a diff machine to normal and bloody hated it)

Step Up's
7kgs each hand, 10 reps each leg x3 sets

Cardio Fat Burn Cycle Level 1 20 mins
Bit of a disappointing owrkout, think I prefer training Hams and Quads on different days...

07.00 tbs L-Carnitine, 1 Thermobol
07.30 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 30g extra light soft cheese, 10g grated cheese
12.00 100g lean mince, 30g brown rice, 75g chilli kidney beans, peppers, mushrooms, onions, 100g tinned toms
15.30 same as above
17.30 4 water biscuits, 125g cottage cheese
WORKOUT
19.30 scoop whey
20.00 100g lean Turkey, 100g mixed veg, 20g egg noodles , onions, pepper

Weights looked pretty good, although 45 degree machine required unloading so didn't use it?? laaazzyyy

Diet wasn't all that bad, and everybody has a weak day now and again, and that as a weak day was pretty good

No not laziness, pure pi**ed offedness that the other guys would leave 6x25kgs plates on the machine EITHER SIDE. That's 12 plates I have to unload before I can even get started! It's ridiculous!

Looking forward to back and biceps tonight...

12 x 25kg platse is taking the p*ss a bit, theres plently of newbies that wouldnt be able to shift them, sounds a bit like there showing off by leaving them on there to me. a bit of "look what i can lift"

Whoever left them wasn't there when I began taking them off.

It's a bb gym so most of the guys do lift heavy... Just wish they'd clear their plates if they can be ars** to put them on they should be to take them off...

Gonna split my leg workouts back down again into Hams and Quads, the whole leg workout isn't working and is taking my weights workout to waayyyyy over an hour...

Let's just say a lot of changes have to be made, and it showed through that I'd never had anyone helping me before...

I think my training all in all is ok, I just have to be more rigid with what days I have on and off but the weights seem ok. I'm doing too much ab work and need to cut down on my cardio for now but do it at a higher intensity when I do... As for diet, watch this space!

What was the reason for stopping the morning cardio flick?
