I'm sure you'll love the show Tan. Another show that Paul might like is the Crusty Demons, they're on in at the MEN 3rd January. I bought tickets weeks ago after reading up on them thinking they were some crazy rock band. Hubbie is amazed that I fancied going.

I too am wondering what the other 'f' is, football would certainly be applicable in my case

Yeah definitely!

Well Cirque Du Soleil 'Dementia' was visually spectacular. The special effects were just awesome but it was more like being at a Pink Floyd concert but without the drugs. The 'Cirque' side of things was a bit disapointing tbh. Ah well I've told Paul he just has to take me to the one in Vegas instead.

Had a very productive leg session yesterday. Space Cadet was back on form and informed me that she wasn't ill the day b4, she had just had a hangover but forgot that she had been out for a drink on Sunday.....and she wonders why we call her Space Cadet

I did a ton of cardio too but only 50 mins today and a bit of shoulders. Think I'm getting a cold which is pants. Am planning on not feeling ill tomorrow....we'll see how that plan goes!

Get a hot whiskey down your neck (any excuses)

Glad you enjoyed the show, I've always wondered about seeing it myself.

Pink Floyd without drugs PMSL.......if the Roger Waters concert is anything to go by you also need to add ciggies and strange coloured fluid in volvic bottles

Well I think the lurgy has officially unlurgied itself over wkend!!!!

Had a bit of a palava even b4 we managed to leave for work this morning. Paul came out of the house with the bike keys instead of the car keys....which he left in the house....WITH the house keys...and yes he had already shut the door!!!! So we had to break back in to retrieve all keys and then set off on our little way

Chest - Incline Isolat Press x 4 Flat Bench x 4 (25kgx6 PB not including the bar lol) Decline Pressx4 Single Arm Cablesx4

Tris - Bench Dips x 4 Rope Pulls x 4 Tricep Dips Machine x4

I then yomped 3 miles to catch a bus to a friends. And that was pretty much my day!!!! Not bad as days go really!

Nothing much to write home about today really. Did the usual bum and hams stuff with some calves. It was a good one and me and Space Cadet had a laugh too. Cardio good 90mins and diet nice and clean although I have made a banana cake this evening but it have no refined sugar and is just sweetened with the nanas, protein powder and some splenda. Will have to bing TIO to give me an idea of the break down lmfao before i see how big a piece I have or if i have to wait until morning lol.

That's what I keep telling Paul lol

Jam Pot is all makes me sound soooooooooooooo much more dedicated than I am but the fact of the matter is I am at the gym all day. It's where work and it belongs to my other half so I'm there from 9-7ish Mon - Fri. So after we've opened up and I've got my paper I'll jump on the treadmill for a while. I hope this makes more sense now and makes me look more like I reaLLY AM pmslllllllll!!!!!!!!!

Not unless he can just get pennies out whenever he wants to

I didn't get to the gym til after 1pm today as I had the morning off. Space Cadet was just finishing off the chest workout that she missed on Monday and then we did some shoulders.

Isolateral Shoulder Press.
15kg (each side) 10 single each arm the 10 double
20kg 8 single 8 double
25kg 6 single 6 double x 2

Upright Cable Rows
4x8-12 3plates/4/5 x2

Rear Delt Cables
10-12 2plates/3/4x2

We finished off with 4 sets of round houses.

Bi's

Rope Cable Hammer Curls

12x3(plates)
12x4
8x5
6x6

Over Head Cable Curls
10x4 (plates)
8x5x3

Preacher Curls on the Cables
1 x 8
3 x 5

I did 60 mins yomping on the treadmill to finish. I was soooooooooooooo hungry by the time I got off PMSL.

I've got a really annoying niggle in my elbow that is affecting my grip on my left hand with the ring and middle finger. I've tried to ignore it but it's not shifting so I better start taking my own advice. It affects me worst of all when training shoulders so I talked through a revised training with Paul that I will try out next week. It's a bit of a pain on bi's too but the exercises I did today seemed to be ok so we'll see how it goes. I'll have to do a note to self to remind myself to massage it lol.

Olaaaaaaaaaaa....lil old me again!

Very productive gym day today. Felt jolly good fine splendid and that's impressive as I only had 4 hours sleep. I was making salad at 2.30 this more whilst scoffing 2 crumpets because i was sooooooooooooo hungry. Then I watched sh*te TV and fell asleep (btw I have a man stood behind me with his pants round his ankles....looking at his quads).

I did an good 60 mins on the tread this morning chatting with the boys about lots of weird and wonderful things as usual.

Back

Bent Over DB Rows
12x25lb
12x30lb
10x35lb
8x40lb

Hammer Rows
12x25kg
12x35kg
8x45kg
6x45kg

Straight Arm Lat PD
4 sets 8 - 14 (4- 6 plates)

Single Arm Cable Rows (high)
12x5plates
12x6plates
8x7 plates x 2

Then another 60 mins on the tread to finish it all off! I feel really positive today (then again there aren't many days that I don't feel positive tbh...oh xept 'fat day') but today is maybe a tad more positive. Since dropping my carbs and seriously upping cardio I have not lost one single lb...not a sausage worth. However my strength has gone up and I feel like I look leaner. I've certainly put everything back on that I lost when I had my op and maybe a bit more too. Am gonna get Paul to get a pic of my back as I took one b4 I went into hossy. I feel a right d*ck tho posing for the camera lol

Oh yeah and I've pretty much cut out my cigs. I'll have one in the evening and I'm gonna take em when I go out but soon it's going to be arse freezing outside and I'm not going to want to go out to have a smoke. No self pressure again...at some point I will stop lol

What is it with feeling hungry and lack of sleep this week? As long as you don't get the sudden sickness that I had

As long as you're looking better who gives a poop about weight

Will try and call you in the morning.

Thank goodness you checked that one out

Tan, you may find that you have already changed your proportions round especially if the clothes are more loose and the scales haven't changed. You've had a long lay off don't forget and are still a relative new comer to training so you have the big advantage of the beginners spurt. I'm sure little legs can explain it better

Is there a secret to your eternal perkiness Tan? If so can you please let us mere mortals in on it, as it'd make my working week go so much better!

Wish I worked in a gym and not a boring geeky office where they all eat crap and don't understand why I won't go to the Thai with them on a Friday lunchtime and pig out... [sigh]

Tic I cna be a right cow when I want to be....but saying that not usually for very long. I just think life is wayyyyyyyyyyyy to short to be miserable and I beleive that you get back what you send out. In addition I have a job I love. I was an office rat like you and I HATED it so I changed it. I have made absolutely NO money this year to speak of setting up my own business but my quality of life has improved so much work wise. On the other fronts my life is pretty sorted too so I am VERY VERY VERY blessed and very grateful.
Plus O think being a wee bit dotty helps LMFAO.

Kitty I know the beginner spurt...I can feel myself spurting but I'm soooooooooo bloody impatient lol Saying that I measured my waist today and it is 29.5 inches......before I had my op it was 34" sooooooooooo that's a bit of a change huh lol. And I know my pecs have increased in size as I now have a bust....not mega kahoonas but good enough plus cleavage Still the same siz bra though pmsl.

Ok training today was 2nd leg Day. We did:

Rear Leg Raised DB Lunges
4 x 15 each leg!!!!!!!!!! These are still such fkn killers.

BB Squat
12x10kg
12x10kg
20x10kg This is still such a new exercise for me and I'm finding my feet with it. I felt really confident today but we decided to keep the weight low and concentrate on the form so that when we increase the weight we only have that to worry about.

Leg Press
15 x 140kg
12x 190 kg
8x 230kg
10x230kg------the heaviest I've done so far on LP....felt good

We finished off with 3 sets of 15 Leg Extensions with just a couple of plates. My legs feel very heavy and I'm pretty sure I'll be a wee but sore tomorrow. I only did 30 mins this morning and a 20 min warm up on the treadmill today. I was supposed to have 2 clients in at the end of play so I needed to keep some energy in reserve. As it turns out only one turned up lol.

Well off to the public house this evening after the ruggers. If anyone would like to see out local check out www.glassbarrel.co.uk And deffo check out the gallery for a giggle!!!!!!!

I can't believe that my legs aren't wrecking me today. I mean they are a wee bit sore but nothing to write home about. I swear this is down to the Kre-Evolution that I take from Extreme Nutrition. It is just fantastic stuff and I highly recommend it.

Wow, skinny minny waist or what

Thanks for the messages yesterday, Dave and Les wondered what I was giggling at. Dave also at one point blurted "why don't you two just chat it would be quicker".....if only he knew how long we are on the phone for when we do

PMSL....that bloody Dougie is a skinny minny and a Scot so no pennies out of him. Even when he usues photos that I have taken of Paul for his advertising LMFAO!!! I do recommend you try these though. Maybe not now with the rest of you comp prep as you don't know how you will react at this late stage but maybe after. I know Paul used them right up until he competed though.

Texting is mush more fun in a situation like that....and it didn't take away from my shopping in TK Max

RE: It's Just a Ride! - 22 October 2007 21:15
Well it appears that Monday is going to be hangover day for Space Cadet as she skived yet again today. It's that bloody box of wine at wkend that kills her. So I was on me little wee lonesome again for chest, which actually felt really good today. I trudged for 30 mins on the faithful treadmill this morning and another 20 mins pre wo but just couldn't be arsed after my workout...had to take some meds today and I think it wiped me for a while. Anyway luckily I had gotten through my training before I zonked.

Chest

Isolateral Incline CP
15kg(each side) x15
20kgx12
25kg x 10
30kgx8

Flat BP
15kg x 12
20kg x12
25kgx8 These felt really good today.

Cross Over Cables
40lbs x 6-8, 3sets (2 handed)
30lb x 10, 2 sets (single)

Tri's

Single Arm Cable Pull Down
20lb x 10
30lb x 10,8,7

Rope Push Down
60lb x 10, 3 sets

Bench Dips
4x10........

And that was me done for another day. I'm definitely on count down mode for our trip. I've pretty much sorted what I'm taking and I reckon we cab fit all our stuff in one hold all but we're taking another cabin bag that will have all the cameras and stuff in. Not bad for 4 weeks. The sum total of my clothes is:

3 pairs of jeans(wear 1 to travel)
10 tshirts ( 1 to travel)
3 very light cotton dresses
1 pair shorts
2 sweatshirt hoodies
a hat
1 pair Crocs
1 Pair dressy pumps
1 pair trainers
Hiking boots (wearing to travel)
Undies & Socks
Jacket (wearing to travel)

Now I don't think that is bad going considering we are away for a month I figure you ALWAYS buy stuff when you are away so why take loads with you!

Yayyyyyyyyyy...one less sleep until we jet off!!!!!! I'm getting a wee bit excited now....to say the least. I had hoped to lose some weight before we went and have been eating really clean but have managed to shift nowt at all lol! Am obviously doing something wrong but now with less than 2 weeks to go until we go away is not the time to sort it out. So I'll try not to worry about it too much although it is pi**ing me off. Lets just hope I can sort it when we come back....which I'm sure we can. But a sample of my days eating is like this:

1- protein pancakes or cereal & skimmed milk
2- Whey Drink
3 - Chicken half baked spud or 3 spoons cooked rice with loads of salad or veg
Workout
4 - Whey & Banana
5- Chicken/Steak/Fish/eggs with Veggies or Salad & sometimes sweet potatoe
I have a treat on Sat & Wed. Piece of cheesecake with scoop of ice cream and on Sat 2 glasses of wine. I'll have handful of plain cashews pretty my daily and avacado in my salads.

It's pretty much a variation of this theme. Times will vary depending on my clients appointments. I'll do a weeks food diary when we get back and settled and then go through things. For my height I am pretty much an 'ideal' weight but ud lasses are never satisfied and losing a few kilos of fat wouldn't hurt either lol

Trained hams and glutes today. Same excercises as always but in a different order with no super sets.

4 sets SLDL
4 sets dumb bell lying curls
4 sets Ham stick extensions
4 LP Calf raises
4 sets hypers with 10kg plate.

20 min warm up and 40 mins post workout on the treadmill.

Ah well another day and I'd like to say another lb....but alas PMSL

Now you know as well as I do that weight is not the issue (but it helps when it drops)
