Also noticed that Tesco have a "3 for 2" offer on Vitamins and supplements until tomorrow.

I bought "Discount Brands" A-Z Vitamins with Probiotics (50p for 30), Tesco brand Cod Liver Oil (£1.96 for 300ml with each 10ml giving 1100DHA and 800EPA) and Seven Seas Extra High Strength CLO (£4.33 for 300ml).

All prices before the 3 for 2 discount and make sure you only buy items of a similar price together as the cheapest item is free.

i used to get 415gm tins of wild pink salmon from my local asda 4 £1.50
they now say they dont do it anymore
is this just my local  or nationwide?

Tesco have Pokr Loin for £3.99 a kilo at the moment allegedly. (haven't been there to verify it yet).

Hoping i'll get there and get maybe 5 kilos to stock up the chest freezer. Will make a nice change from Chicken

My local tesco's is being refurbished and so is closed.  This has forced me to use Morrissons and I'm glad I did.

Can't remeber the exact price but you can get cooked sliced chicken breast (not with added water) for £1.59 per pack.  (Can't remember the weight but it was big).  The equivalent pack in Tesco's is about £3.99.

Just been to ASDA.  John West tuna is 2x packs of 3 for a fiver. (So 6 tins)

Been out to Farmfoods today after they'd put a flyer through my door. Lots of stuff on offers, Chicken, Fish , King Prawns all good.

Got a voucher on the flyer too for £2.50 off £25.

Lidl are doing their chicken breast on offer at the mo - 760g for the price of 570g at £3.75 which is under a fiver a kilo. Good meat it is too

They often have them (normal 570g  ones) down to £3 from £3.75!

I pay about ~60-70p per kg for oats - i just buy the own brand value ones from tesco/somerfield/asda

I tried the waitrose ones but although they were the most expensive at nearly a quid a kilo they had the worst texture. The others are all pretty comparable.

I have mine with a touch of somerfield value hot chocolate powder and sometimes a pinch of cadburys bournville powder, with 1% milk or sometimes semi skimmed - tastes ok to me

i got tesco healthy living grade A frozen chicken breasts 500g for 1.99, the same stuff in 900g bags is 5.99 - were reduced to clear so bought ten!!!

Popped into the new Iceland that's opened in Billericay yesterday - i don't know if it's a special offer or the normal price but 4pints of full fat/ss/skimmed milk was £1.

Popping in there would save me a quid on milk each week if i buy the regular stuff instead of 1% milk plus i can pickup the frozen broccoli/peas/sweetcorn at the same time.

Hi Fi (I love saying that). Are you back from your holiday? After losing my appetite for oily fish & powdered linseeds for a few months, I've recently resumed eating salmon, which has lifted my mood. I'm also getting used to the situation with regard to my mum.

Makros are doing 5kgs of chicken breast for £17.99!

I picked up mine yesterday - £16.99 for 5kg of uncalibrated fillets in a vacuum packed bag instead of the plastic tubs.

Makro is ace for Chicken. I got 24 breasts in my bag averaging 200g each! Not bad for ~70p a go

no idea - if you go to the large wholefoods store in soho they usually keep small meridian jars of the stuff as will the larger H&B's, but you end up paying a fortune for them.
