Epidrol Review

I thought id write a bit of an Epidrol review as I didnt keep a journal of any sort. Its mainly for my own records but feel free to ask anything.

Age: 28
Start Weight: 13 stone 5 (I was 15 stone (fat) in the beginning of December, dieted to 13 stone 5 at which point I started the cycle ~ 9 weeks ago)
Height: 5 Foot 8

Diet: Around: 4200 calories day. The vast majority being clean.

Previous Cycle History: None

Cycle: Epidrol 30mg per day for six weeks.
PCT: Nolva D1 60mg, D2-10 40mg D11-21 20mg. Today is day 19 of PCT.
Supplements: Whey, Dextrose, Milk Thistle, Taurine. Creatine used during PCT.

Cycle Goal: Lean bulk - to add size and strength but not too much fat.

Training: 4 day split, which is the same Ive been doing since January.
Mon - legs
Tues - Chest & bis
Wed - Cardio & abs
Thur - Back & calfs
Fri - Shoulders & Tris
Sat - Easy cardio
Sun - Rest

Cycle Positives: Mood lift and eagerness to train although this may have been all in my mind. Strength increase from weeks 3 to 6, it has dropped off a bit but is still up overall. Gradual but consistent weight increase throughout the cycle. Increase in libido during the first few weeks.

Cycle Negatives: The main negative for me was the back pumps. These were only an issue during deadlifts and gradually got worse each week. I was drinking 3 litres a day so upped this to 4 and added some taurine but it had little impact. Other negatives included a few spots, not many but they were huge. A drop of in libido during the last 2 weeks.

At the end of the cycle I was 14 stone 2. Weighed today (day 19 of PCT) and im 13 stone 13, so im up 8 pound overall and hopefully wont loose any more. Some of this was fat.

Overall Im happy with the cycle and feel I got as much out of it as I could. Only trouble now is that I want to go again!!

Took some pics earlier unfortunately I didnt take any before the cycle to compare them against but I think most of the weight has been added to my shoulders with some on my love handles. My skinny legs are catching up slowly but need some work as ive neglected them due to being either lazy or injured. Comments & constructive criticism welcome.

    Looking good mate!
How long have you been training for altogther now?
I'm starting a cycle soon so its always helpful to read impartial reviews like this.
How much fat do you estimate you've put on? and how much over maintenance is 4200 for you?

Thanks gwilym.Been training about 10 years. I used to train as a supplement to rugby but ive stopped playing now cos of a knee problem so am just weight training.
I d say about 1/3 of my gains are fat. 4200 is about 300 cals above maintenance this went up to approximately 4400-4500 by the end of the cycle.

So you think you gain just over 5lbs of muscle mass over the 6 weeks of epi mate, very impressive nearly 1lb a week. Very good review btw

very good review and as already stated these clearly non biased reviews are hugely helpfull to everyone.
imo you have done very well out of that cycle which as well as a positive for epidrol also reinforces to you your training and diet are working for you.

Nice review mate. I'm on another Epistane clone Epithin-E at the moment and I have to say it's very potent. There is no question about comparable purity to IBE's in my opinion. The other clone I ran Methyl E was definately under-dosed. I remember last year when I ran IBE's Epistane I made several comments about it feeling "stronger" than the Methyl E but I think a lot of people thought I was making it up due to getting a free pot of the IBE stuff. It has since come out that a lot of EST's products were heavily underdosed.

    Thanks for the replies.

One negative I should have added was not being able to drink for 9 weeks. I dont drink every week but do enjoy a few on special occasions. Ultimately I ended up going out for my mates birthday and not drinking. As much as I was telling myself I was having a good night there came a point at 1 in the morning where I was stone sober in a night club with a fat sweaty bird grinding against me. Fortunately my mates were too pi$$ed to see the fear and panic on my face.

I never really questioned the dosage I took it for granted that it was what was stated on the tub. I guess with the popularity of these products there is always going to be someone looking to make a quick buck.

My legs are smaller than that in real life. Ive managed to add some width to them but they still look like twigs from the side. My big ass muscles dont help either.

This will depend on your age diet, training, length of time training etc. If you can honestly say you have everything sorted then I would say epidrol would be a good place to start. Six weeks is quite long so you may want to do a shorter cycle. Having said that I felt 6 weeks at 30mg wasnt a problem.
You will need a serm and liver suppport eg Nolva and milk thistle. Others have added other supplements but I felt this was sufficient.
My only other recommendation is to do plenty of research and dont rush into it “By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.”

hahaha been there mate. not drinking is always the biggest issue for me; can never go longer than 3/4 weeks without getting shedded.
