how to use nizoral for acne

just got some nizoral shampoo for some acne that's come up on my back and chest.

1. how would i use it? just use it on the affected area like soap or use it as per the instructions for dandruff (leave on for 3-5 mins then rinse thoroughly)?

2. has anyone used nizoral for acne on their body and had some success?

yeh as far as im aware i think you leave it on for a few mins then wash off. can i ask where you can get the stuff from?

just bought it from boots.

I have just started using Nizoral myself for my acne I bought mine from Boots. I have only used it for 3 days but I can see a difference already my skin is starting to heal up.
I rubbed the lotion in and leave for about 5 mins you can feel your skin tightening up then wash it off.
Impressed with it so far.

will you carry on using it everyday or drop the dose down?

you can use it all over the face (expect eyes) leave it on for two minutes and insist more in the affected areas

in boots u can find a product from avene called cleanance k that has aha and bha very good to help the skin recover and get rid of any imperfections and any scars you might have


lots of dermatologists recomend it twice a day

i may see if i have any for the spots on my head, i could do with clearing it up before i shave me head again wednesday, leave it on for a few minutes and see what happens

I will carry on using it daily to wash my face chest, back etc. I will up the dose when Im on a cycle.

Angelfan reports reults after 3 days, is that the norm to see it working?
