just do a quick search. Boots sell it in 100ml bottles, Tesco sell it in 60ml bottles

if you go onto Nizorals home page and click on store links you'll find some places doing deals on 3x 100ml bottles, 2% stuff

Thanks lads, just starting to fret about hairloss these days (that damn Tren) and im giving every hair loss medication under the sun a go lol.

Does any re-grown hair from Minoxidil or Rogain fall out again if you stop using it?

Thanks again, Sean

Hi mate, this is from Wikipedia site re: Minoxidil

"If a person uses minoxidil to stop hair loss for a length of time and then stops taking the drug, hair loss will occur again."

Yes it does mate albeit very very slightly, there is a link from recent findings which shows part of the hairloss cycle is caused by the inflamation/infection to the follicles on the scalp, Ketoconazole the active ingredient helps alleviate/soothe that inflamation/infection thus delaying the follicles shedding .

um unfortunately it doesn't work for him. If you have a look at the ingredients its just Saw Palmetto with some other herbs thrown in. Its not however cheap either.

Isn't that prescription only? I've had a chat with my gp and he fobbed me off with the genetic thing, comes to us all with age blah blah, yeah, guess it does in time but I'm only 28 and it's really messing with my head

Typical, that`s one of the reasons why there are so many `Snake oil` merchants out there making a living in the hairloss industry.
I don`t normally like having a dig at Doctors but they on the whole are limited knowledge - wise and don`t seem to see(or certainly don`t show it) the psychological issues that come with it aswell so just fob many people off without even looking into the subject.

The pharmaceutical researchers are at an advanced stage as regards making hairloss a thing of the past. As soon as that happens (within next 5 years), it'll wipe out all those cowboy merchants who claim to have a "cure" for your "illness". Hairloss is something that pretty much every second person gets. I think what bothers people is that its a sign to the world that you're no longer full of youth (Even though thats not strickly true as some people go bald quite young). Ryan Giggs is going light on top, but I bet he can still pull the Birds!

I found Rogaine to be a very expensive product. I must admit that i have been using Finasteride for the past 3 years and there is no question that it has halted my hairloss. However, I have no intention of spending the rest of my life taking drugs and staring in the mirror. I'm 30 now and to be honest, I'm just going to get the Mach 3 out very soon as every second 30 year old I know and a load of footballers are getting light on top. I think problem was that I started thinning in my early 20's and felt like a freak. Its not such a big deal now and I will stop taking finasteride once my current supply runs out (have 3 boxes left).

I suppose the fact that im using Tren doesnt help either lol. So far il be using, Fincar, Topical Spiro, Nizoral and Saw Palmetto. Ordered all of them to see how they work, considering buying some minoxidil as well as i am thinning at the front now.

I'l probably just wait till im off Tren and see if things thicken up again before i use minoxidil as i hear a lot of people that arent even MPB prone suffer bad hairloss on that stuff. Best i can do now is damage limitation for the remaining three weeks of cycle lol

Your ability to have sex is fine. You'll have no problem getting and maintaining an erection or ejaculating. The thing you do notice is a fall in your appetite for sex. One session in any one night and thats you wrapped up. Time to roll over and fall asleep!

Tren`s one of the worst offenders out there I think mate, I chance Test but I wouldn`t chance Tren lol.

Fincar, the generic version of Proscar etc, I tried it having already been a long term Finasteride user as it was cheaper and there was something not right with it imho, shed quite a bit during the 6 month phase I took it.

Saw Palmetto, no offence to you mate but if anyone could show me one decent stand alone study done on the stuff where it shows it does block DHT(in relation to hairloss) I`d like to see it, all I`ve ever seen is that it bases every claim on the back of what Finasteride can do rather than anything on its own merit ?

Must admit it sounds good too, maybe in 15 years time when I`ll probably have to shave my head lol.

If you`re interested mate have a read into Soy Isoflavones (in particular Equol), some interesting things have turned up with some recent studies.

WOW!! That inhousepharmacy sells generic finasteride dirt cheap compared to the branded one (which I couldn't really justify spending money on) - my baldness prayers have been answered

Has anybody experienced gyno on finasteride or does that only (might) happen with the 5mg tabs?
