Well it was this time last year (give or take a few weeks) that I began the long road to physical perfection (well as perfect as my genes will allow) and I figured that this anniversary ought to be celebrated by me restarting my journal.
Some background reading for those who care for it.
Started Training towards the tail end of June last year, after finally getting the gym membership I had delayed for so long, started out at 11'6'' Skinny Fat...although I thought I was decent at the time lol
Spent the first few months training badly, dropped calories dramatically and did far to much cardio and a Full Body workout 3/4 times a week...got down to 10'9''....had slight abs, but still skinny fat pretty much.
Did a lot of reading around (On MT of course) and finally sorted out a half decent routine for myself, this continued for 3 months and finally got my weight back up to it's starting point...but with some actuall mass behind it.
Entered the shape up in January in an effort to step up to the next level....change my routine to 5x5 and began to see good increases in strength and weight...started the shape up at 11'5'' (I Think) and ended up at 12'9'', or at least what I thought was 12'9'' but when I weighed myself on different scales I came in at 13'2''...this was then verified by 3 other sets of scales.
Obviously a lot of this gain in the 3 months had been fat, so I began a cut to loose some of the excess, this lasted for 5 weeks and I managed to drop down to 12'8'' with slight (in the right light lol) abs and much less overhang on my waist.
anyway, thats the journey so far, and I hope that it continues to be enjoyable as it has been so far.
