The title bid was never on in my mind.

The title is clearly obvious, man utd if not chelsea.

No one else will even get near.

Arsenal have a poor balance in there squad,they just cannot compete with man utd and chelsea who are light years ahead.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

I fancied Chelsea at the start but the injuries could be a big factor.United have had a shaky start.Liverpool are a BIG contender for the title this year.Can't see them finishing lower than third.Probabaly second IMO.

Ive said from the start that this is Chelsea's year. Its a case of how many titles/cups they win imo... I dont think Liverpool will beat Chelsea and id rather not comment on the mancs but i honestly believe it will be very close with 4-6 games to go with all the top 4 still being realistic to win...

yeah i reckon this yr will be closer than in terms of more than 2 in the race.. i do think chelsea will be too strong, but they have a knack for injuries... and if they cant find someone else to score goals then they may struggle imo...
if we can beat city today that'll be a great result for us.. hopefully city will steal a point form the blues!

Yeah was wathcing MOTD after the sunderland match and heard shearer and hansen basically rule arsenal out of the title race, and they said it was between chelsea and man u, they didnt even mention lpool which irritated me abit.

Superb perf from sunderland btw, a good team, good to see cisse doin well i always liked him as a player.

Was a near impossible decision fro the linesman when theo crossed for van persies goal.

shearer AND hanson have ruled out Arsenal, I best hand over my season ticket now then :P haha

sunderland did very well at defending and killing the game, fair play to them do what you have to do to get the result, another one smashed in the top corner that he would not score if he tried it 100 times again, had flamani closing those down last year, and a goal which should have stood disalowed, oh well im sure we will get out slice of luck later in the year.

should be an entertaining afternoon.

Lets be honest anything but a win isnt a good result for lpool if we are gunning for the title. I would be disappointed with a draw tbh and if we lose ill be pissed.

liverpool started off well, but have not looked comfortable since they went 1 down, but u can guarantee a 95th minute gerrard 50 yard top corner goal.

I have to be honest and this isnt being defensive towards Liverpool. A draw at City isnt a bad result for anyone really, the money spent and players they have makes them a top team. Not top 4 (yet??) but hardly an easy push over imo.
A loss is a dissapointment but its early days and everyone loses matches in a season now... (and yes i know Arsenal did do it but not any more)

Truely shockin i thought we had a good defence lets be serious we are better than city and should be beating them. Weve conceded 2 in 6 matches now its 2 in one match and its only half time, this isnt good. Lucky if we get a draw now :(

We have been playing 4-5-1 most of the season.Changed to 4-4-2 yesterday.This is a much better system IMO.It's very hard being a lone striker in the English Leagues.It may work abroad but our football is too fast paced for that i believe.You don't get time for the midfield to join the attack as you do in Italy for example.

With the formation we have i really cant see how we are losing 2 nil, i mean 5 in the midfield and masc is playing too.

we usually play 4-4-2 with keane on at same time.. he doesnt play as an out and out striker but a striker none the less..
lastyr we played 4-5-1 wi SG just behind torrres and we scored bags full o goals!! just think he needs to give babel more game time!! and after beatin evertone and PSV wi that team, why then take keane out?
i said a few posts up, yesterday or day before that i would like to see where he would fit in masch, Sg and xabi, and hes answered by benchin a goal scroer and possible MOM from the last 2 games!! good move rafa!!
