If you say that you need 40 points for Premiership survival, to have 14 after 7 games is a great start for Hull. I'm just gutted i forgot to swap Geovani into my dream team

mrmmonster hes left keane on the bench today :-( strange. started with reina, arbeloa, carra, skrtel, aurelio, masch, xabi, steve g, riera, kuyt, torres. playin 4-5-1 apparently. probs with SG behnd nando up top? its gettin so frustratin now that rafa thinks kuyt is a winger!! still..... think we need to get babel and keane on.. moe attackin!! guy. i know i'm a fairly useful player but i honestly dont think i am good enough for premiership football thanks for the vote of confidence though

Integra Whatever PED's the Hull team are taking* seem to be working very well. *ducks for cover Shows that all you need to survive in the Premiership is a squad that is willing to knuckle down.Ramos spent £88 miliion and is propping up the table.I would love to see Hull finish in the top 10 at the end of the season.

Still early days yet, it will be interesting to see if they can keep this up into Christmas/New Year where injuries and suspensions may take their toll.

Portsmouth were topping the premiership into december last year i think... by all means we are a rag tag bunch of footballers rescued from the scrap heap (reserve squads of other teams). its good to see hull doing the same

its all about united and chelsea. complete tossup all the way between them then liverpool if arsenal dont start spending money and relying on kids they will find themselves at 5th behind man city in a year or two

been hearing this about arsenal for many years arsene has always had the policy of bringing in youngsters and making them worldbeaters - its a philosophy that has worked for 12 years why would he change it to name but a few players we signed before or around the age 21: vieira, anelka, henry, fabregas, boa morte, flamini for those names in our current squad see: diaby, vela, van persie, denilson, nasri, song - the list goes on they will pick up experience as they go along and soon will be running the premiership

He nearly lost Adebayor this summer too. Too many seasons now we've seen Arsenal play the very best football in our league but have naff all to show for it. It's very nice having a squad of good player which cost less than Sunderlands squad, but come on they need to be stacking some silverware this season. As does my team btw.

they will become good players but you will not be better than manchester united or chelsea. thats been arsenals problem imo they still havnt won the champs league, and havnt had a trophy for what seems like a very long time.... you have to ask yourself is it actually working? theyve always been short of a bit of money when its needed look at rooney, ronaldo, anderson , nani, tevez all the same age as the arsenal lads early 20's have all now got champs league experience under there belt and a prem or two

ive always admired kuyts work rate.. he doesnt have the greatest footballin ability but u can never question his committment!! i just think tho that when u have someone like babel on the bench kuyt in my eyes, a lot fo the time doesnt justify his position. he isnt a winger! and gives the ball away far too much.. thing is with him tho.. he always bags a few goals as soon as people start sayin he's sh*te!!fair play to him.. i just dont think he has the quality which we need down the right.. but i suppose if riera continues playin well and we use the left to full effect, kuyt could effectively come in more and play as a 3rd striker when goin forward.

There was an interview from someone above Arsene who said if he asked for substantial backing for a player they would do so. Arsenal have a quality side but the same response seems to be popping up, give them time, let them adjust and get experience. When they do they come to the conclusion they're not winning anything and move onto pastures new.

every 1 seems to go on about Hleb like he was a world star LOL after seeing him play every home game last season, I can tell You nasri is a far better player already, flamini is a big miss, i imagine he would have been sniffing around closing down both of hull and sunderlands long range efforts in recent games,

Whilst arsenal are sittingthere saying wait till they mature/ get experience, youve got united chelsea and liverpool buying decent players. i think the arsenal era has been and gone now, as i said they couldve been a real force now but they hesitated to spend when others were adding to there squads year on year. i see liverpool as slightly stronger than arsenal now. united and chelsea will never be less than top 3 now and with man city claiming to spend big. the big four is turning into a big five.# arsenal are being left behind. its early days i know this but say each team loses there man in the middle: essien - depth in squad to replace scholes - depth in squad to replace fabregas - ?? put a kid in there gerrard - ?? iffy thats pretty much how it reads throughout each squad.

in the beginning there was people away for international duty aswell. could play 4-3-3 rooney - tevez - berbatov scholes, anderson, carrick, giggs, nani, hargreaves - any of these in the middle or 4-4-2 tevevz - berbatov giggs/nani - scholes - anderson/carrick/hargreaves - rooney

swift maybe they dont have another 40 goal per season player. but would they be ****ed without him? honestly Yes they certainly would. Nani/Giggs are nowhere near as influential as C.Ronaldo. Nor is Tevez or Rooney. Ronaldo was a handful of goals away from scoring more than all 4 put together last season.

at the moment when he is not playing then they are lacking up front Well unless one of your four replacement has a "freak" season then united will be be down 15-20 goals this season on last which may mean points dropped so?

yeah course they are! that is the difference between those 2 and us and arsenal.. l'pool wouldnt ****t if we lost SG tho!! i know it was only 1 game, but we proved we can put together a great performance without him and nado by beatin utd! masch is world class and so is xabi so we have plenty cover for SG in the middle. lucas is an excellent prospect for the future too.. imo we are more equipped than the gunners, but still off the pace of utd and chelsea in that respect!
