My old time favorite is Alpha by Vangelis, used to hear it a lot in the 80s and always raised the hairs on my neck

GOVINDA A good one is, "Word Up" by Cameo, an oldie but seen it work!! Red pouch compulsory. I've been thinking a lot lately about Samantha Fox's 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body)' and I realise that not only is it the perfect karaoke number, it's completely ideal for a BB stage routine. Especially all those 'uhhhh, uhhhh' sounds. The crowd would be on their feet. (...and out the door).

Please not O fortuna, theme from Gladiator, theme from the Matrix, I think - Creed - Are you Ready - Kevin Levrone used it ! Brill track And I think Kitty should pose to either Charlotte Church - Crazy Trick Bowling for Soup - Girl all the bad girls want Nickleback - Hero - good intro to pose to I always planned to pose for a mix of God is a DJ and Insomnia ... (excuse me while I go down amnesia avenue)

This is what im going to use ONE DAY!!! Its the training montage from highlander its awesome. Starts slow and quiet and builds up volume. The last minute and a half are perfect. With "there can be only one" added in some where :-) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fgwNTle8FAY Also the conan song is perfect but you could never use it after dorian yate has used it :-)

Richyd, the most that the associations usually allow you to use is 90secs anyway. Much longer is boring unless you're a brilliant poser which unfortunately not many are :(

I wanna be Adored by Stone Roses would be a funny one! And it's a really good song. Firestarter maybe... I haven't competed yet, or been to a show, so I'm not sure what to look for in a song really... I'm guessing if I went with some bastard hard gabba the judges might have it in for me for inflicting it on them!

Spotted K - yep most are 90 seconds. And even tho Dorian used Conan - they do, just as they use the Dorian mix of O-fortuna! oh dear

Don't the judges get really bored with overblown 'spine-tingling' orchestrations blaring through the speakers?

Yeah im sure the crowd get bored. But then again i think you have got to use music that means some thing or motivates you. I also like the song from the end of gladiator. But after watching james flex lewis win his welsh title to it thats out to :-)
