Bollox!

Put the 2.5lb bak on that I took off last week.
But I knew I had over indulged.
Hey ho, I'll get it off this week, still on target with 1lb a week average, trying to stay up beat and rational to keep consistency going despite this small blip.

I thought you said your lips were sealed!?!
Too right, glad it's end of november, means I can now concentrate to look better than when you all last saw me.
Ssshhh, It's my BDay today, but I'm keeping it quiet, there no cake no-one asking me to go out to lunch, no nothing at work, woop woop!
Gym as usual this morning and diet spot on!
Out Fri night with girls, but to Giraffe where we can have lush chicken salads, dressing on the side, maybe 1 glass of wine for toast.
And lunch sat with Mark but to a Loch Fynne, so a healthy protein full fishy lunch, mmmm, my fave! (no alcohol here).

Elsa - Huni HelloooOOOooo!!!!! Glad you're back

You could've said "Mark, you eat all of them", or, you could've called sister and said "Thanks, but you know I'm dieting, what do you want me to do with them?"
OR You could've sent them to me - who would've appreciated them!
I KNOW SW - and I know it doesn't count "A quarter of a chocolate" as any form of sin, non? It would just say "Steer clear".

And - I also know y.day was Weds - did you weigh in?

Hey Chrissie huni, OOoo how exciting, it's definitely on our plans to go to THE Loch Fyne so defo meet up when we do xx

Swiftly moving on past last week choccie incident......

Feeling RRrrrAAAaaHHHhhh positive this week, just had a fabby back n bi WO, managed 8 really strong contractions on 3rd set lat pulldowns with 70kg

I didn't weigh in, don't like the woman and they're all moaning minnies

Decided the fiver each week would be better spent with PT David; have arranged to meet Fri pm's to do half hour posing practice + can get 20mins stairmaster in b4 hand also AND means I can do 20mins stairmaster on Wed's.
Will try to rmbr to weigh in am.
Does that meet with your approval, sargent, sir!?
Excited to see you on 28th, hope to do some posing?
xx

Biceps feeling huge and rock hard again tonight! xx

1lb off.

Am off next week so lots of batch cooking and extra cardio sessions planned, just got hols to use up and as we're away at x-mas..
Gonna sort out recipes I've been collecting for forever so I can cook delicious 'not too cheat at all' cheat meals for w/e's.
Also gonna sort out my motivational notebook as I spilt protein shake on last one and I've really missed it on train, looking at pictures of flick + kitty (& welshy's butt! and paradigm ) really does help me.
Have printed out all your recent encouraging messages to add in too.

OMYGOD!!! That's it I've got 7 months!!!
Loooooaaaaddds o time, IF, I get and keep my arse in gear!
Bring it on!
Good start as I didn't go to co. jolly on thurs pm, not having drinks n nibbles I didn't want or need (god I love all those fancy hourderves & champers!)
Instead I had a great back n bi session and stuck to my diet and felt great!

Re:Figure Contestant Wanabe - 08 November 2009 12:01
Had first posing seshion with PT David, went well, but hard to see poses when my tummy and arse are soOo huge!
But so far good pointers in realising difference me lifting my chest in every pose has on my tummy and hips and hand position to tweak bi-cep, I think I rmbr noticing this with you at monster last time flick.
And that don't find pose and then contract everything, contract all the way through, dropping into the pose.
And don't forget to show case as many muscles as possible at any given moment. I may be trying to do a front double bi-cep but that's no reason to not have my legs and abs tensed.

F*#~k me, it's hard work!

Really didn't think I'd manage legs n shoulders after that, but I did.
Just off to tesco, gotta get me some more brocolli, bit obsessed at mo!

*chants* Go Fi ! Go Fi ! hehe

It's great we have a date to work to now, makes it all so real and seems like something that WILL happen now and not something that MAY happen in the future... hopefully that makes sense.. it did in my head lol !

I practise posing for a little while whenever I can now, it really is hard work... I need to learn to do it without the mirror though.

I'm going to get my t-walk practise in soon as well, watching the DVD it was very apparant who had practised lots and who hadn't... I've only got one chance at this and I want to get it PERFECT!

Got my mooosic sorted already.. how anal am I ? LOL !

Have fun at Tesco x

I can feel a real shift in my attitude to my diet now. The training side's always been good for me, but I can, see that every mouthful ( bad lady (but I did think the sam of your advised 'fluid intake' how juevanile ) really does count now.

Am thinking central and nothern (see my 'other journal').

Looking forward to catching up on the 28th

1. I'd do posing AFTER training if I were you - you'll be pumped and look heaps better and FEEL better :-D
2. Welshy - I bet you change your t-walk music a thousand times between now and Centrals - I picked my music for Southern in the November before - I stuck to it but boy was I bored!!! Think I may have done the same this winter for next season, but haven't convinced myself quite yet.
3. Congrats on the weight loss!!!!
Just so I can congratulate or boll0ck appropriately, how much are you aiming to lose on average each week?
4. I've got some currently FAT pictures of myself if you need to se them to show you what you go from and to when you diet and to show you that however fat you think you  are, you're really not sweetie :-)

We're all very proud of you.

Awe! Thank You!
I've been a bit up and down this w/e so don't feel like I deserve so much encouragement. Not particularly diet wise, just in myself, bit marks head off before I went to gym sun am, was fine when I got back having had my endorphine boost but he was a little wary for the rest of the day bless him.
BUT feeling positive again today. Off this week did 20 usual stairmaster this am, but upped the intensity, which just goes to prove i can and have done spinning tonight, diet spot on,brocolli bought
As kitty said 1lb a week I think should be the goal but I will be kicking extra ass wherever possible to try and exceed that.
Photos comparisons would be fabby, email or FB them hififi55@hotmail.com and I'll wallow a little left over from the w/e and say I am as fat as I think I am! BUT I'm aiming not to be.
Now where's that broccolli.......

What a fabby day!
Had a great session this am with a chap at gym who skips and goes on the bag, I invited myself to his sessions and we had a great time, something different, keep the body guessing and burning, burn baby!
Than had a girlfriend round for lunch and have been to spin this evening, now clean, fed and VERY chilled

Thnx for photos flick. Just had another bit of a eureka moment in the shower actualli!
Found kitty's before and after photos I had printed out and after looking at your also realised that actually I do look like those photos, and therefore I MUST be able to lose a decent amount of weight in the time I have and do this!
Woop Woop! I love moments like that
Definitely coming together slowly but surely

WWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK so endorphins may be 'a little' high after spinning at 7am!
The tunes had great 'donks' on them!

Weight: stayed the same, which I'm actually ok with.
I've been off all week and whilst I have exrercised A LOT, I did because I knew I would slip with lunch dates with girlfriends
I feel slimmer tho?!
My body also slows down when I don't eat every 2 hours or drink my 3L of water a day, so expect great things next week when the whole routine kicks in back together, when I'm back at work!

I am VERY motivated tho. Got my new motivational book:
Welshy: your butt and paradigm have a page!
flick: you have a double spread!
kitty: double spread, of course!

I have put in your wonderful encouraging comments from a couple of weeks ago next to your before and after photos, with space for a pic of kitty at the Norton Cup!

My family are still being particularly dismissive of my intentions, they've heard my rollercoatser cycles for too long, so I can't wait to prove them wrong!

You shouldn't be ok with this. Rant coming. Your mindset still needs to change if you want to compete. It's not ok to exercise A LOT because you know you're going to slip up on eating. You can't do this during prep (trust me I know I've been there) it doesn't work. You need to adjust your mindset now, and get used to it. And don'tbe ok with no weight loss, you should think 'I need to work harder' (unless you're one of those people who doesn't lose one week then does double the next).

Weekly harsh rant over.

Have a good weekend!

Mmm, cos I can be a 'nothing 1 week and then 3/4 the next' kinda gal, but I hear ya, much tighter week coming up!

FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!
Sis has just reminded me that it's my Mum+Dads ruby wedding anniversary next year........ 1st August!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????!!!!!!
and they're planning a party!!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!!
So now my mum'll be like you had to pick this year (2010) to do this (compete) didn't you!??!
At least I planned to be in manchester that w/e (and at least they're in manchester now and not Newcastle, that would've really caused problems!) I'll just have to make my apologies for the party on the Sat pm, and see them on the Sunday evening. I'll be too busy tanning Sat pm, or will I need/ be allowed a high carb meal that evening? and I could just go looking VERY bronzed!

I know, Chrissie knows I have already pinched her 'never complain, never explain' mantra, it works SoOo well for me, weird
Just the other week I had a mini stress out, in my own head
There was works jolly that I was wanting to avoid.
For starters I'd look a nob with my rucksack n bags of tupperware I lug to work n back each day!
And I didn't want the calories that I would find hard to avoid, Ooo I LOVE those 'ikkle bugers and stuff they have as nibbles at posh doos! And free bar AND I would be missing a gym sesh! But I don't want people to think I'm weird or a complete party pooper, not that I really care as they're just people I work with not friends.
BUT
When asked if I was going, by the very party animal whoose opinion I was concerned about for some bizarre reason!  I just said "no, going to the gym", didn't complain, didn't explain and she just said "Ooo, I really should, but I'm really weak, you have a great session"!!!!!!!!!!
So what the f@+%$ was I worried about?????????
Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!
So yes NEVER complain, NEVER explain.
End of ramble

Good for you Fi!!!!!!

And Flick, I was referring to fwendywendys OUTSIDE the business....of which, GIRL wise (and girls TEND to be the worst bringers-of-doom vis a vis diet and traiing) I have virtualy zero!!

Oh and Fi....do NOT be alarmed by David here....I DO know him and he IS relatively harmless....for a copper!

Glad you tracked me down, Officer...I'll come quietly.....
