Not sure if mentioned but Harvesters is pretty good. Half a chicken and ask for baked potato instead of fries, and ofcoure unlimited trips to the salad bar :) Costs around £5.99

Hungry Horse Restaurants / pubs. Meat is grilled and you can choose your veg. i.e jacket potatoe instead of chips.

There is a pub in Chiswick called the Swan we go to all the time. http://www.theswanchiswick.co.uk I have any of the following: Sirloin, roast potatoes (which I mostly leave) and rocket salad. Grilled swordfish, white bean and roast tomato salad. Pan roast fillet of sea bass – sautéed potatoes, leeks & peas – chive aioli. Roast spring chicken – wild rice & pistachio salad – sweet chilli sauce & crème fraîche. Not the cheapest- around £12-15 a main but it is a nice place to be in West London, great garden in the summer, no TV's except during the world cup.

trawled through this thread some time back and someone recommended 'LEON' - they have various chains in london (went to the one off regent street) food was absolutely DELICIOUS - their ingredients are natural/organic/free range e.t.c ordered variety of things; brown rice, cauliflower/sweetpotato curry, chicken with yoghurt. They also offer various vegetables cooked simply but tasty! was much better then nandos for me - normally get half chicken and salad which apart from how they cook the chicken is nothing special. LEONS on the other hand was top notch

anabolicjay http://www.rodiziorico.com/ Location:- Wesbourne Park-London Upper St islington-London O2 Arena-London £- roughly £30/head with 2 x drinks. Food:- this place is to bb'ing like a church is to christianity... more suited to the bulkers amongst us although dieters will be able to enjoy this too... The meal starts off by helping yourself to the salad bar from which you can choose everything from broccoli through to pasta and potato salad and boiled eggs. once you are seated with whatever bits and pieces you have helped youreself to, waiters and waitresses will come round with various selections of BBQ'd prime meat cuts & poultry (protein)... you can eat as much as you like, different meats are constantly brought for you to enjoy and you can go back to the salad bar as much as you like. Highly recommended. Thanks, will definitely check this place out in October when i go to UFC 120 in London at the o2. :-)

richsINS The Harvester. Grill type resturant, but also currys and pastas etc. Cutting? Lean grilled protein & UNLIMITED SALAD CART(Variety of lower fat toppings(Honey & Mustard, red devil, or the fatter mayo/thousandislands etc) plenty of lettuce/carrot/pineapple/sultanas/beans/beetroot. Bulking? Go for the mixed greasy grill & carby salad cart options(Unlimited) For those who need PWO carbs theres Potato salad, Pesto type pasta shells, Unlimited freshly baked white or wholemeal rolls. Budget? Before 6.30 its "Early bird" a good few options(Spit roasts, etc) are around £4.99 or £5.99. They serve free tap water, but soda is reasonable. Love it, cheap, i leave full up and depending on if im bothered by calories ill either go for the big grill type meals(Sausage, black puding, etc ec) orill go with lean chicken/gammon & jacket potato then pick the lower calorie salad options off the free cart to boost up the size of my meal. Desert = Rocky horror fudge cake is awesome. I have to say, the harvester is the dogs!!! great value for money and the food is totally beautiful...

Sometimes after a session i like to visit KFC and have a family bucket meal to myself! I only eat a few chips as to avoid the fat content of the meal. I recommend this as a high protein low carb meal for bulking!

If your in Barcelona look out for the Japanese all you can eat places "buffet libre" (quite a few around town, yutaka for example) Ignore all the MSG and deap fried crap and go straight for the sushi and sashimi, then head over to the help yourself grill and grab veg, fresh fish, steaks, pork and other goodness and hand it to the chef to cook in front of you. Also fruits and salads if you fancy a crack at that! Can't go wrong with these places!

I defianately have to second Cosmo as a great place to eat. The variety of fresh fish and meat cooked in front of you is brilliant, not to mention the sushi. Its also a great place to go in a group because you can try a bit of everything and find out what you like. Even if all else fails theres steak, pork chops and plenty of non-oriental food. Reasonably priced, around £8 at lunch and i think £14 for the larger evening buffet.

I recommend this as a high protein low carb meal for bulking! Have you ever looked up the nutritional break down of KFC chicken? The drum sticks are rolling in at 12g of protein, 8.9g of carbs, 10.6g of fat..... That's just 1 drum stick.... You might want to rethink the low carb and low fat approach buddy :-)
I love the smell of steak in the morning...

Spur Steak and Grill -metro centre Gateshead They do a reasonable priced 17oz tbone steak And they do a steak challenge which talking to the waiter only a couple of people have every managed. The sell i think it was a 79ounce steak which if you manage to eat within an hour your whole family eat for free. If you dont manage it within an hour its like 50-75quid for the steak. I was so tempted to try it lol proper great outdoors(john candy flick) style

Bem Brazil in Manchester though theres another branch in liverpool. Brazilian BBQ restaurant where for 14 quid you get unlimited buffet including really nice stews and salads and then BBQd joints of meat are brought to your table and served every couple of minutes until you say stop. Included rib of beef, rump steak, gammon, lamb, chicken thighs, chicken hearts, duck breast, pork loin. Amazing place. I was in there 3 hours once.
