GASPARI SIZE-ON (just ordered some...) - 07 April 2009 15:11
Right,
I just bought a trial size of this product, and will report here my results.
It only has 10 servings in the trial size, but I aim to use it during my w/outs.
I tend to sip water throughout w/outs anyway - so this works fine.

I wanted to buy the full 1.2kg, but £40 is a bit much - as I don't know whether I'll respond to this.

It'll be interesting to see results anyway.
Thanks.

Yeah its expensive shi* mate but is touted as the best creatine blend on the market. I got some real cheap as a one off, i got a big tub though, i will run it soon and do a log on it.

So you just going to use it during your workouts, how many times a week do you workout?

Currently working all bodypart's.
Weights - Mimium 3 days a week (45-60 minute sessions)
Cardio - Twice-three times a week, 30-60 minute sessions.

I tend to do my cardio non-weights days.

I'll only use the product when using the weights, not cardio.
This may have an impact on whether or not I'm maximising the products full potential.
But I don't want to waste it. If it's as good as it sounds - I should see noticeable changes during weight workouts.

Pointless, it takes a few days imo to see the results.
i mix mine with BCAA and rate it highly.

Yeah theres no point using it just on workout days. Just use it for 10 days, you should be able to get 4/5 workouts worth if you can fit it in right.

^^^ Ok chaps. Good advice.

Will time it so I use it for 10 days straight, and get my weights routine during that period to get full effects.

have you tried mono?

Hi there,

Yes I tried Mono a couple of years ago. It did absolutely nothing for me. Dosed it everyday as it instructed.
I then went on to buy Green Bulge (CEE), capsule form. Again, dosed this as instructed to no prevail. I then tried Omega Thunder (CEE) - with little results. Much later on I tried xCEEd, and this worked really well for me. (please bear in mind I didn't do these supplements back-to-back, I ensured I had sufficient time off etc). The first couple of weeks with xCEEd were the best - noticeable strength gains. However I didn't like the water retention - especially around the lid section.

So overall - I haven't been overly impressed with creatines of any sort. But I keep reading about Gasparis Size-On, and am still in the process of adding quality bulk. Which is why I  am going to try it.

I started lifting late 2005, weighing 170lbs. 3 years or so after I'm now 200lbs, roughly at the same bodyfat %.
I still want to add quality muscle mass. My bodyfat is in the late teens, but I don't want to do any drastic cuts etc and lose muscle mass.
I've introduced cardio into my routines in the hope that I shed some fat during the weights & cardio sessions.

Regards.

I highly rate size on. I have tried a whole range of creatines and this is my favourite by far, being able to take it during the workout seems to add endurance and focus for me. Stacked with SP250 and its a sure winner, the only other NO product I rate highly is BSN NO explode but feel its less value for money.

Yes - xCEEd was CEE creatine.
I found it strange too. Maybe it's the ingredients/mixtures between the products.
But Green Bulge, and Omega Thunder - I had no results: strength gains or anything.

I even gave my brother, who was bodybuilding at the time, some xCEEd and he too noticed the strength gains in particular.
I was finding I could get at least another 15 or more reps instead of maxing out on 10 reps, when lifting heavy.
But I really didn't like the water retention. I looked fuller for sure, more so in the arms.

^^^ The Green Bulge and Omega Thunder were capsules (pill form). Whereas the xCEEd was powder form.
I'm sure the way these products are made differ slightly. I responded very well to the xCEEd. But the effects wore off after about three weeks. As if I became immune to the stuff. I'm not a big fan of creatines since trying those products. I'm interested though to see the effects of Size-On. As it's a creatine mix that doesn't bloat you etc... I'll soon see anyway.

Re:GASPARI SIZE-ON (just ordered some...) - 14 April 2009 09:51
Hi All,
Day 4 - and four servings later, here is my progress so far:

Product taste:
The product mixes very well, and the taste (Wild berry) is fine. I sip it during workout.

Strength: Can't report any strength increases really. I have been going a bit heavier than normal - and don't seem to be as achey the day after though. I seem to notice myself looking a little fuller, and ever so slightly more vascular during w/outs.

Mood: Mood seems to be ok really. Could be psychological - using a new supplement etc, but overall pretty content.

Overall: In the mornings I've noticed, my overall frame seems to be looking more toned than usual. There haven't been any real noticeable strength gains so far - but to be fair it's still early days. As I said - during workouts, and in the mornings I definately appear slightly fuller looking. I do feel though that the product is contributing to something. I will continue to dose the product until the trial version runs out, and I may even order a larger tub - to dose for 30days+, as I want to give this product a chance. I am monitoring my weight - but it's too early to comment on that side as of yet.

I'll report back at the end of my trial period with the above pointers explained a little further hopefully (in a weeks time).

Thanks.

Sam question to you mate.  What were you expecting from it?

People seem to think creatine and pump products are magic mushroom super booster supps that pack on muscle and strength.   The gains from creatine are marginal.   They are there, of course, but do not expect to be adding pound upon pound of muscle.   Just does't work like that.

I think it all boils down to  whether or not you actually respond to particular products.
By supplementing your diet & workouts with creatine, or any other product - you at least want to see it contribute to gains, once you've hit a plateau or feel you need any extra something in the mix. If you don't respond to any product, then why take it?

I agree that all products won't turn you into a ripped, muscle bound freak overnight. But they contribute (supplement) ones routine.

i was just really expecting a greater muscle pump than what i would normally get from hard training without using any form of NO2 product .. but the pump i got from sp250 was no more than i would get from training without it

Well with creatine within the 1st few weeks muscle gains from it will be tough to tell as it will be minor gains that arent noticable, but within a few weeks of use (about 3 weeks) strength gains and maybe muscle fullness should be noticable.

Ok, I dosed the product.

- Will I buy a full tub of this product? = No.
- Will I buy this product in the future? = Maybe.

I'll try to narrow it down:
Strength gains: No real strength gains were noticed.
Bloat: No bloat was noticed.
Mass: On the scales, I remained the same. Visually I looked slightly fuller (chest, shoulders).
The product taste/mixability: Doesn't taste bad. Easily drinkable whilst working out. Mixed well.

Overall: I didn't feel it contributed to much. To be fair, my bodyfat is in the late teens, so I feel this could benefit someone with a lower bodyfat % more effectively. I was slightly more vascular than normal during w/outs. And I didn't really add any true mass (scales). Maybe the trial tub, isn't a long enough course to run - I'm not sure.

I won't be in a rush to dose this again. Although, in the future when my bodyfat lowers, I may dose it again.

Best of luck to all.

Xceed contained more than CEE mate - it's a formula that was made by Designer Supplements before they closed, and is now currently being made by one of the main sponsoring manufacturers on here (don't know if I can say?).

Formula is:

Creatine Ethyl Ester 3g
Di-Arginine Malate 3g
L-Taurine 1g
Glucoronolactone 1g

...per serving.
