Bugger - not to worry. Rules are rules and the bank holiday completely threw me out. I suppose it's really best in reality as I know I would have skipped studying to be on here!
Still, best of luck to all participants.

Hey that's not fair!  We have to have rules do we not.
I've had to disallow 3 entries this morning and i feel mean and bad about that, but what can I do ... we have to draw the line somewhere.  I made it very clear about the closing date and I nagged constantly!

Right then, weekend of excess over. No playoffs to drink whilst watching and only cardio for the next few weeks due to my wrist

Let's get this competition going!!! :)

Good luck everyone

Noticed that my shape-up entry is no longer here or I simply cannot find it. (If it has been removed because of my comment in this thread then I apologise RHF and didnt mean it in a malicious or nasty way)

Haha I am not!
There are 3 pages of threads now, I think I counted 52 entries?   So be aware your thread may fall onto page 2 or 3 at times.

What way does this work then fi? obviously everyone is gonna do their best for 12 weeks and keep a log or whatever, do we just post up pics then in 12 weeks time? or is there a half way point or anything like that? Then is it a forum vote?

I'm not sure yet to be honest.  What I anticipate happening is in 3 months time, everyone posts up their after photos.  Due to the number of entries, I think we will have to spilt it up into groups and then we will start a voting poll for each group and then take the top members from each group (don't know how many that will be yet, let's say 2 or 3) and then form a final voting poll where the winner will be decided.

i hope I'm not the only one who hasn't actually started yet. I refuse to start dieting (just had knee surgery)before I can walk and actually do cardio. hmmm How many calories does wa nking burn, could that count as cardio?

Who won last years shape up? I remember he was a total beginner and made excellent progress in 3 months
I remember he kept a journal but I can't remember his username for the life of me, might be worth taking a sneaky look at his journal, not that I'm trying to poach any tips or anything....

How's everyone doing?

Fridays are always difficult for me in the office as it is cake day and there's always loads of donuts and muffins.  Temptation is all around

Then my colleague came back from lunch with a box of Tesco's Half Coated Triple Choc Cookies, for our team.  130 cals each FFS!  They're egging me on to eat one, but I am resisting

I've been doing alright, a bit annoying i have to spend 1 - 2 hours a night prepping my food for the next day and having to eat 3 meals cold

Last monday I went to a Harvester and had couple pints, full bowl of crutons, salad and other stuff topped with their 'Red Devil' sauce. Followed by chips, half a rack of ribs and 1/4 of a chicken and to top it off I had their 'Rocky Horror' which was amazing. yum yum yum. Although i'm bulking so I have an excuse
