thanks for your support mate quick update- arm has good and bad times, right now its feeling sore, and the pain is going deep into my shoulder as well, not pleasent. Most of the time its feeling ok, but still quite stiff, though its wrist which is most limited in movement, and i have limited grip strength, not only from forearm wasteage, but because the tendons in the wrist are very painfull. Bicep and tricep have 'filled out' a little, so are less floppy, but still a long way off being back to size. looking forward to legs tomorrow, as i missed fridays session because the arm fresh out of pot was too tender

Morning Dazc, just dropping by on a Monday morn.....ouch for the arm pain but good to hear it's coming on a bit...it will progress you know that already, but I guess it's the frustration of the waiting game that gets you down....(well, I'm guessing it is). Hope things will improve for your this week and hello to Rachfit too. I read her posts on the Q & A...sadly, my poor ole brain don't understand half of it!...(note to oneself)...must try harder!...really interesting stuff. Have a good one.

have made changes to my diet yesterday, and started them today. Its slightly higher in carbs than my cutting diet that i used for leeds show last year, with more protein and quite a bit of extra fats, so overall about another 900 cals from what i was cutting on. cardio is also back now the pot is off, 3x 45 minutes a week. im hoping the new diet will see small muscle increases and small fat loss. here it is- 7.30 75g whey, 50g oats, 30ml udos, in 500ml semiskimmed milk. 10.00 large chicken breast in granary bun with olive oil spread, banana, 150g pro+prebiotic yogurt. 12.30 100g Myprotein total MRP in 600ml semi skimmed milk, 30g flax powder, apple 3.00 as 10.00am meal 5.30 train-50g myprotein tri-carb powder, 10g BCAA, 10g EAA 7.10 pwo 50g whey, 50g dextrose in water 7.50 50g whey in milk, 20ml udos. 9.00 250g steak, 60g basmati rice, 20ml walnut oil, 20ml EVOO, small amount sesame oil. mixed salad 11.00 50g whey, 25g milk protein powder, 25g oats, in 500ml semiskimmed milk. handfull walnuts. never been this high with the fats before (well not good fats, i used to make shakes in double cream to get ridiculously high cals in lol) so looking forward to seeing the results. I quite like experimenting with diets now, and being super strict with them!

Enjoyed looking through this Dazc...good to see someone who really does have the determination to achieve. Diet looks spot on. How come you have the oats and milk in your pre bed shake? With regards to the arm injury...have you tried cissus? Cleared my tennis elbow right up when nothing else would! Good luck with everything...will be following this from now on!

I actually put cissus in a few weeks back after someone suggested it, untill then i had never heard of it! Does seem good stuff! I have the oats and milk prebed to add calories for repair during the night, and try slow down digestion otherwise i wake up in the night starving hungry and it disrupts my sleep! also i sleep better with carbs before bed!

enjoyed training tonight especially cardio! lots of attention from people asking about the arm as well, so that was really nice that people bother to ask. Leg extension, 2 sets 8 reps leg curl, 2 sets 8 reps duck press, 1 set 10 reps shoulder press 1 set 12 reps chest press 1 set 12 reps rear delts 1 set 12 reps felt great to get a bit of blood going in the pecs and delts! 45 minutes cardio, 30 sscv and 15 HIIT. quads were on fire by the end of it! the cardio also seemed good for the arm, to have the movement and blood flow cant wait for wednesday to do it all again! :-)

Incredible Bulk hey dazc, did you get that hernia op in the end? so...whats the score/plans for the next few months? havent had it yet! it was scheduled for the same time and day as the bicep surgery! same hospital as well! still have the op there if i want it, but it hasnt been painfull for months, so i may leave it and see what happens. next couple of months is drop a bit of BF, pack some more mass onto the legs and possibly a bit on delts, while rehabing the arm and maintaining rest of upperbody size/bringing the arm back a bit with very light exercises. then i will shift focus back onto upperbody as long as arm is ok, to gain back the muscle lost on the lats, and try put a bit on the chest and tris. going to leave biceps with no direct work. then towards the end of summer im going to diet right down to comp shape, have a mess about with carb-ups and water manipulation so that i can find what works for me, and also see if i have any balance issues. then its a rebound bulk christmas/newyear, staying nice and lean and gaining slowly for shows at the begining of 2011. if i can get some good size on i may well jump over and do a nabba show before the ukbff shows later in the year, and fit another rebound in. not that i have thought about it..... lol

Yeah arm out of pot, you not seen the photos a couple pages back of my spazy little arm?? still have a good few hundred grams of carbs per day. when im really craving is junk food, especially cream cakes, cheese cake, chocolate, icecream etc etc! so much harder dieting when there is no show at the end of it! Papa Lazarou Had to laugh - your bicep after the tear is about as good as my biceps without any tear LOL - looking good Daz with all things considered. Decent mass on the legs too - should be looking killer by year end dude. Keep the good work up! hmm i seriously doubt that! though its coming back steadily, even with no workout. My arms have never been over 17.5, so yours are definately bigger! just im a shortie so they look bigger! i want to see if i can hit 30 inch on the legs, so 1 3/4 inches to go! Northerngal Morning Dazc....hows baby bicep today?...lol....less painful as the days go by? or too early yet, sound like a great workout tho'...legs ok?...or are you doing that ole john wayne walk....lol.... hey NG! bicep is feeling ok, its more a mental thing and feeling very cautious with it! legs are good, ready for round 2 tonight!!! woo hooo!

4 days on the new diet, 2lbs lighter, abs look a bit tighter though waist measures the same. spazy arm is now a little less spazy, having gained 1 inch since last thursday, and is now sat at 15 inches. not in great condition, but better condition than a week ago where it measured over an inch less! why is it sooooo much harder controlling food cravings when there is no target for the diet? im getting the most unimaginably strong cravings for dirty food. not broken yet though last night was more by virtue of there being nothing in the house than utter will power! lol

May just have found whats finally going to get me up a weight class! COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it will be back to average in no time at all! lol Had physio this morning, as i thought really, wasnt a whole lot of use. for the past week i have been doing some stuff intuitively to get things moving. the three exercises they gave me were EXACTLY that! lol still, has to be done, so that if there is a problem i get seen. if you dont attend the physio the surgeons arent keen on helping if there were other problems. have booked in to see the surgeon, there is a lump on the tendon in the elbow crook, could feel it a week ago, but not tell wether it was just the skin or not. now i can palpate the tendon, its definately on it, and its grown a bit as well, which is worrying me a little bit.

another session done, another weight increase on shoulder and chest press, starting to feel more like a workout now, and getting some pump in those muscles. Leg extension single leg, 70kg, 8 reps, 2 sets leg curls, 60kg 8 reps 2 sets calfs, 1 set 10 reps shoulder press 60kgx15 reps 2 sets could do alot more weight but not risking it chest press 70kgx15 reps 1 set rear delts 1 set stiffarm pushdowns 1 set full range tricep pushdowns 1 set 35 minutes HIIT, and i was absoloutely wiped out! really pushed hard on the intervals.

very busy weekend, lots of driving sunday to help a friend move his car, then it was over to warrington to watch the evening show of the UKBFF event. Fairly small show with only a small number of people, but had a great time. Met elfintan and chatted for a while, really friendly person, she introduced me to her other half paul george, was great to talk to someone whos done as much as he has. James then introduced me to shaun JT, who is a fantastic guy, very friendly stood and chatted for a few minutes, very down to earth and genuine person, taking the time to talk to a spec on the BBing scene like myself. I was a fan before, but that has cemented my support for him. Zack kahn was also there, but im afraid i cant say the same for him. He was coming out of the toilet as i was heading in, so i took a step back and moved to the side, plenty of room for him to get past, and for my troubles i got a shouder barge and him muttering something under his breath. Great physique maybe, but the guy as a complete tool.
