Just got my Melanotan II - Please answer question re: Mixing

Hi all. I ordered Melanotan II on Wednesday night and it came this morning. I ordered the Pre Mix 20ml version - My question is - do I just stick the needle in the vial and inject myself or do I need to mix it? Sorry stupid question but both vials have Powder marked on them.

Also, what needles should I order? I ordered  Terumo Syringe 1ml Insulin (U100) with 27g x 0.5" needle. Is this alright?

Never heard of pre-mixed. I wouldn't be keen on that tbh.

Anyway, if it's pre-mixed then why would you need to mix it again? It is already a solution isn't it?

Not too sure mate. It just offered Pre Mixed or not mixed. just said 20ml.

20ml is a measure of volume, not how much drug is contained within.

A can of pop is 330ml (volume). Say for example sugar is a drug. They could put 1 teaspoon (approx 5grams) of sugar in that can, or they could put 20 teaspoons of sugar in (approx 100grams). Do you see the problem?

Just knowing how much volume means nothing unless you know the concentration of the solution. ie How much drug is contained in that solution

You absolutely cannot start injecting something when you have no idea how much drug that would be

I have emailed the supplier I bought it from as it didn't say on the website.

It says on the instructions that I should inject 0.2ml a day for the loading phase. that's all the info I have. I knew I shouldn't have trusted my mate and I should have bought the unmixed one.

Ignore this. Find out for yourself how much drug each ml or fraction of a ml (0.2ml or whatever) contains.

It's like getting a load of steroid pills and someone saying "take 5 a day". Without knowing how much steroid each pill contains, you're dicing with danger.

As above only shoot once you know the exact dose you have otherwise you will be in trouble i once shot 5mg in one go by mistake and let me tell you now its not something i would ever want to repeat..........

In future buy it yourself and mix have not heard thebest reports about quality of premix

29g or 30g is preferable ... but 27g will do the job too

Each vial contains 10mg of powder mixed with 1ml of bacteriostatic water. this will give you 10 individual injections marked 10 on the needle.

Right so you have a vial or syringe with 1ml of water. This contains 10milligrams of MT2. That's fine. Better if it were mixed with more water, but not a big issue.

I suggest new users start with 0.25mg of MT2. If you were to continue with this dose unaltered, your 10mg of MT2 would last you 40 injections.


So 1ml = 10mg of MT2.
Therefore 0.1ml water = 1mg of MT2

I believe you shot 0.2ml yesterday, which equates to 2mg of MT2. This is 8 times the amount I suggest for a new user, and TWICE the amount I consider necessary for an experienced user that has built up the dosage over time.

Steps you need to take:

1) Read my article
2) If you don't understand it, read it again
3) Should you still have a query or are unsure of anything, ask me.
4) My suggestion which you will gather from the article is 0.25mg of MT2 for a new user. This will be a VERY small amount of water since your mixture is highly concentrated. 0.25mg of MT2 will be ONE QUARTER OF 0.1ml OF WATER ie 0.025ml. You should be able to fairly accurately dose this from a 1ml syringe but ideally it would be mixed with more water so accuracy of each shot is improved (as suggested in my article. I advise mixing 10mg with 4ml of water, at least until dosages increase).

thanks Partyboy. I think I was getting ml mixed up with mg. I drew melanotan upto the 20 mark on my 1ml syringe where as you said, I should be only drawing 0.25mg? So it should only be a quarter mark on my syringe? I injected 8 times the amount so this is why I felt sick?

I don't use marks. I use millilitres and fractions of a milliltre. On your syringe if you fill it it will be 1ml correct? (providing you have 1ml syringes and not 0.5ml syringes). So divide that into 10 and each 1 is 0.1ml. You will shoot this amount (0.1ml) over 4 days. So you need to divide each of these 0.1ml into 4 to get your daily dose ie one quater of 0.1ml.

And yes, shooting 2mg as a novice will leave you feeling as sick as a dog.

Yesterday I took 0.2ml (where arrow shows). So should I take 0.1ml? (half of the amount I took yday). would that still not be too much? Sorry but clearly you have brains lol.

In short having seen your barrel. You will shoot 2.5 marks on the barrel per day. I know, it's a very small amount.

If side effects are tolerable after a day or two at this dose, increase to 5 units. Then 7.5 units. Then 10 units.

Don't be surprised if you never reach 10 units. Some people are quite sensitive to the drug even after tapering the dosages in this manner and find 1mg of Melanotan II, too much to take.

Thanks very much Partyboy, I understand now. Sorry for being so thick. Will that small a measure make that much of a difference with regards to a tan? I'm obviously going to stick to what you have advised now as I don't want a whole day of being sick again.

You're welcome. I'm quite anal when it comes to stuff like injecting drugs. I like to ensure that the user understands fully what they are injecting, how much, and why.


To answer your question, Yes it will make a difference. Obviously the change in colour will not happen so dramatically as if you were shooting 10 units per day. But this isn't the point. You will (hopefully) get to 10 units per day, but the way I advise to do things will avoid people feeling like absolute sh1t.
