You are probably right mate but I am a typical male - hate going to doctors so will probably be a martyr and not bother!!!

Did you stack anything with the H-Roid when you used it? I accept that I am hardly a cardio fanatic but for months prior I did virtually none (apart from a bit of bike riding) so there was certainly a big difference relatively.

Take it you had a good time too mate? (and a hangover lol)

Not touched the car yet due to the ****e weather but will be done asap.

Been a right lazy twat this weekend and done no cardio or training

However, been to the gym tonight and trained back and triceps. Only did 6 sets for back but went heavier than last time to compensate.

Nautilus lat pulldown             3 x 130kg x 9, 10, 8

Nautilus seated rows            3 x 140kg x 8, 8, 8

Tricep pushdown                   1 x 50kg x 15 (warm up)
(straight bar)                         1 x 85kg x 12
                                              1 x 95kg x 12
                                              1 x 105kg x 10

Rope pulldowns to side         1 x 60kg x 10
                                              1 x 70kg x 8
                                              1 x 75kg x 8

To finish I did a superset which consisted of v bar pushdowns followed immediately by machine kickbacks. Went like dis: -

V Bar pushdowns                  27.5kg x 10, 9, 8

Kickbacks                           full stack x 8, 8, 7

Triceps absolutely fried at this point, end of session.

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 03 November 2009 22:47
Trained shoulders tonight

Seated press behind neck            3 x 105kg x 8
(machine)

Seated Nautilus OH Press           1 x 80kg x 12
                                                   1 x 100kg x 12
                                                   1 x 120kg x 9

Standing dumbell front raises     1 x 15kg x 12
                                                   1 x 17.5kg x 12
                                                   1 x 17.5kg x 12

Decided to end the session at this point as I had been having a bit of pain in my right delt; the seated press machine usually only goes to 95kg as the pin won't usually go any lower. However, tonight when I sat down it was at 105kg; I have been using 95kg for weeks as the pin wouldn't go any lower (so I thought) and I wanted to go heavier. I therefore left the pin at 105kg and stupidly did no warm up at all and went for it at 105kg. I felt a bit of a niggle at rep 6 on the first set but trained through it for the rest of the set and the following 2 sets.
Niggle got worse as I continued so I decided to leave it after 9 sets just to be safe. Not training tomorrow as I have my daughter for the evening so I am sure by Thursday evening I will be fine.

Am delighted to say that I have been selected by Predator Nutrition to log Primordial Performance 1T-Tren shortly. This is a product I have looked at for use in the future so I am really looking forward to it.  As I will be taking pics for the start of that (separate) log I will wait and post them in here at the same time together with a review, stats etc.

I will take this opportunity to say that I was very very impressed with I-Force Reversitol which I used for PCT. My strength actually increased during PCT and I felt good throughout and feel I recovered very quickly and very well too. I therefore have no doubts I am in a good position to start the 1T-Tren shortly.

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 07 November 2009 00:20
Trained chest last night:

Seated chest press     1 x 70kg x 15
                                   1 x 85kg x 15

Barbell bench press    1 x 60kg x 12
                                   1 x 100kg x 6
                                   1 x 80kg x 10

Pec Deck Flyes            1 x 75kg x 10
                                   1 x 85kg x 10
                                   1 x 85kg x 10

Nautilus Incline chest  1 x 90kg x 15
Press                           1 x 110kg x 8
                                    1 x 120kg x 6

Went to top floor to try to use cables but it was packed (I usually train after 8 when it is quiet but went early due to bonfire night and guests at 7pm). I therefore decided to do some biceps curls as I will be unable to train until sunday evening as I have my daughter for the weekend.

I therefore did 4 sets of straight bar curls at 27.5kg for 10 reps per set.

Was a little disappointed with strength for the first time in quite a while but I think this was more to do with rushing to the gym at a time I wasnt used to with little nutrition in advance.

Ha ha thats why I dont use gyms anymore. Training at home rocks as I dont have to wait for anything.

Mate food, rest stress etc defo impact your lifts. But Im a believer also in running a deload week where you lift lowwer weights.

Yeah won't be going at that time again!!! I think it was more to do with the rushed trip to the gym which I wasn't prepared for (didn't know we had guests at 7 until 5.30pm ). If it works for you though bud then stick with it. This is the first time I have not only kept my strength but it actually increased during PCT which I am pinning on the Reversitol so it may not be a coincidence it has dropped a little now I have stopped taking it

The next week will reveal all though

Nothing really to report training wise over the weekend other than a 40 min walk on friday evening down to town and back with my daughter.

Went to watch Up at the cinema saturday afternoon and we both really enjoyed it.

Didnt train Sunday evening in the end as my girlfriend is on nights and leaves for work at 7, which is the time the gym closes on a sunday.

Nutrition wise I have tightened my diet back up a little this last week or so and think I may have dropped a pound or two.

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 09 November 2009 22:00
Just back from the gym and trained back and traps: -

Seated close grip pulldown       1 x 45kg x 15
(to chest)                                  1 x 80kg x 12
                                                 1 x 90kg x 10

Nautilus wide grip pulldown      1 x 80kg x 15
                                                 1 x 120kg x 12
                                                 1 x 120kg x 12

Seated Row machine                 1 x 75kg x 12
                                                  1 x 95kg x 10 (full stack)
                                                  1 x 95kg x 10

I decided I had done enough for back at this stage (I do not train back religiously as may be obvious from this journal - if a bodypart has to be missed in any week it is always back) and realised I had not trained traps for weeks did 6 sets for traps as follows: -

Nautilus Shrug machine            3 x 70kg x 12

Close grip upright cable rows   3 x 50kg x 12

End of session and felt quite good. Didn't train at maximum wait so will see how strength is later this week.

Ah so you are giving this a go then with slightly lower weights?

Its gotta be worth a try, although like you have said bud it could just be down to no more revertisol.

Not intentionally mate no lol, just looks that way   I tend not to push myself when training back nowadays as if I do I usually aggravate my left bicep and/or forearm. As I said though I fear my strength has dipped a little since I stopped taking the Reversitol.

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 12 November 2009 23:05
Right, had a lack of internet access recently and also had my daughter staying last night so not updated it for a couple of days. Trained chest on Tuesday (10th) -

Nautilus seated flat press       1 x 60kg x 15 (warm up)
                                               1 x 100kg x 10
                                               1 x 120kg x 8
                                               1 x 125kg x 5

Barbell flat bench press          1 x 80kg x 10
                                               1 x 90kg x  5 ()
                                               1 x 100kg x 6

Still struggling with this exercise; technique is an issue and it is draining my confidence when I bench and I know I am thinking about it far too much instead of concentrating on the exercise. Am gonna do some research - thought I was on the up 2/3 weeks ago but nearly didn't attempt 100kg tonight in the end. Will persevere though as I know I am capable of a lot better.

Incline Smith machine bench    1 x 60kg x 12
                                                1 x 80kg x  9
                                                1 x 90kg x 7

Pec Dec Flyes                          1 x 75kg x 12
                                               1 x 80kg x 12
                                               1 x 85kg x 11

End of session

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 12 November 2009 23:25
Trained shoulders tonight: -

Nautilus incline front press            1 x 70kg x 15 (warm up)
                                                      1 x 110kg x 12
                                                      1 x 130kg x 8
                                                      1 x 135kg x 7
                                                      1 x 140kg x 8

Did a fifth set because I checked my journal on my mobile as I am paranoid about dropping strength recently and noted I did a 140 on for 8/9 reps on this a couple of weeks ago. I therefore had a couple of mins rest and managed to grind out 8 reps. Happy with that and shows how useful a journal is!!

Standing side laterals                   1 x 15kg x 12
                                                     1 x15kg x 12
                                                     1 x 17.5kg x 12

Seated press behind neck            1 x 85kg x 10
(machine)                                      1 x 85kg x 10
                                                     1 x 90kg x 10

At this stage my right delt was a little sore and I decided to end it there. However, in view of my recent lack of cardio I decided to try, for the first time in many years, the seated rowing machine. My original intention was to go for 10 mins but after 2 minutes I soon realised there was no chance of that   I therefore decided to revise the target to completing 1000 metres and achieved this in 4mins 10 secs (1015m actually )

Am sure this is a pretty sh1t time etc but what I was quite pleased about was that I recovered my breath back pretty quickly. Guess I am easily pleased

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 13 November 2009 22:38
Trained triceps tonight which is always a favourite of mine.

Standing rope extensions                1 x 65kg x 12
                                                         1 x 75kg x 10
                                                         1 x 85kg x  9

Cable pushdowns (inverted V bar)   1 x 80 kg x 15
                                                         1 x 95kg  x 12
                                                         1 x 95kg  x 12

Superset as follows: -

Kickback machine                              3 x 95kg x 12, 12, 15 followed immediately by

Straight bar pushdowns                   3 x 35kg x 10, 10, 12

After last nights dalliance with the rowing machine I decided to go back to the stationary bike and did 10 mins at a decent pace on level 5.

Got nothing out of it though so will have to bite the bullet and start walking again. Enjoy walking but its been so frickin cold, dark and miserable recently that I have not bothered or really fancied it. Time to man up and get my arse in gear!

Mate Im sure your bench technique is cool so don’t doubt yourself.

On a side note this will be a good representation of how well the 1T will work as a direct impact on your lifts.

Your fitness is obviously at a good level if you recovered your breath quickly mate so a good sign of progress IMO.

Lol at manning it up as per your other thread.

GET YOUR ASS IN GEAR AND MAN UP!!!!!!!

Just jump out your bed first thing and do a funky dance you will soon wake up. Im gona do this tomorrow morning just to freak the other half out lol!!!

Lol might have to give that a go mate.

Prefer evening cardio myself tbh and my girlfriend is going in to hospital for an op on monday on her ankle and will be laid up for several weeks so I will have to tag on my cardio to my weights to start with.

Yes mate I think my fitness is not too bad for the big lump that I am; walking really helps this as I live up a big hill so the walk back is pretty steep!

I think with the bench it is a combination of lack of confidence and lack of practice mate. I have thought about this and at the old gym there was no flat bench etc so all my benching was done on the smith machine. Also I initally damaged my right forearm swinging up a dumbell in preparation to bench it. As a result in the 3 years I have been training again (had a 10 yr break) I have never really done any benching at all until recently. I therefore think that due to this I am like a beginner and thus am not able to handle the sort of weight I can on other exercises. This has in turn sapped my confidence as I expected benching say 100kg to be a piece of p1ss but it wasn't. As it stands my PB is about 115 for 4 reps (on the smith) which is way too low for my liking. However, in reality I have not benched really since I had my own weights at home 25 years ago so when I look at it like that it makes more sense I think?  Adding in my forearm frailties and I just don't think I have the overall supporting muscular strength an experienced bencher would have.

Yeah I am hoping the 1T-Tren will get me on the right track to bench 3 plates a side which I have set myself as a goal for next summer.

Well I haven't trained since Friday and diet has truly gone down the pan

Spent over 8 hours at the hospital with my girlfriend waiting with her whilst she was taken for her op. Not happy at all as she was told she was first on the list the afternoon before and we left the house at 6.30am to get there before 7.30 as requested. However there was an a cock up with the running order and basically at 3.40 she was advised to go home Was fooked by the timer I drove us home and wasn't in the mood at all to train.

Anyway trained chest and biceps tonight (only Tues and Thurs available to train this week due to having daughter for 3 nights this week. Went like dis: -

Basic chest press machine         1 x 70kg x 15 reps (warm up)

Nautilus seated chest press       1 x 80kg x 12
                                                   1 x 110kg x 10
                                                   1 x 120kg x 8
                                                   1 x 130kg x 6
                                                   1 x 135kg x 5

Smith machine incline bench       1 x 90kg x 10
                                                   1 x 100kg x 8
                                                   1 x 110kg x 6

Pec dec flyes                               1 x 70kg x 10
                                                   1 x 75kg x  9
                                                   1 x 75kg x 10

Cable bicep curls                        1 x 40kg x 12
                                                   1 x 50kg x 10
                                                   1 x 60kg x 8

Dumbell preacher curls               3 x 17.5kg x 8 (single arm)

End of session, quite please with the strength on the Nautilus tonight. Must go out on the p1ss more often

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 19 November 2009 22:44
Started the 1T-Tren today as intended. According to the bottle it contains 108 "squirts" and I have decided to run it for 7 days at 4 squirts and 16 days at 5 squirts so it should last a total of 23 days.

I applied it as instructed (2 to the front and 2 to the back of my upper torso) following a shower and drying off and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was; it was not greasy at all and rubbed into the skin pretty easily, just like applying moisturiser really and just as quick. Wasn't sure what to expect with this but it really was simple and took 2 mins to do. It also absorbed into the skin quickly so an impressive start.

Weighed myself at the gym tonight and was 19 stone 3 pounds which is pretty much the weight I have been for the last 3/4 weeks. My diet will be very similar whilst running this so any weight added can be attributed to the 1t-tren.

I am currently using daily, and will continue to use: -

3 x 1000mg omega 3,6,9
2 x 500mg Vit C
Sci Fit Kre alkalyn (Creatine formula)
Whey Protein
2 x My Protein super anti-oxidant
2 x basic mult-vit/mineral
1 x cod liver oil cap

I will put up pics over the weekend and have just taken my measurements which are: -

Chest - 50inches (not expanded)

Waist - 39 inches (around bellybutton)

R Arm - 18.25 inches

L Arm - 18 inches

Have just had a look back in my original journal and in the last 3 months I have lost half an inch off my chest and 1 inch off my waist but I have added a little size to my biceps, so not massive changes but certainly a little bit of progress
I can't recall what forum it was but I threw one little c.unt into a sentence and you'd have thought I'd bummed one of their grandmas

Yes mate, shrugs on a machine; handy piece of equipment and can be adjusted to suit. Got a few Nautilus machines in the gym and they seem to be very good tbf.

Don't know if you had noticed but there has been a lot of double, triple etc posts on the site recently and I had reported it to site admin. As a result they downloaded the latest fix. I understand that this included, amongst other things, the very latest in anti-c.unt technology so I guess there's your answer

(As you have later discovered I currently have 2 journals mate)

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 22 November 2009 20:09
Went to gym tonight and did a full back session for once: -

Seated row machine
wide grip                             1 x 75kg x 12
                                            1 x 95kg x 10
                                            1 x 105kg x 9

Narrow grip pulldown          1 x 75kg x 12
to chest                               1 x 95kg x 10
                                            1 x 95kg x 10

Wide grip pulldown              1 x 75kg x 12
to chest                                1 x 90kg x 10
                                             1 x 95kg x 9

Seated nautilus rows            3 x 160kg x 10, 10, 11

Haven't done this many sets for back for quite some time IIRC. Felt good and strong during the workout and if I was not still wary of my forearms I could have handled a fair bit of extra weight tonight. I have no doubt, for example, that I could have handled an extra 40kg on the nautilus rows, (but not for 10 reps!!)

No obvious reason why other than the 1T-Tren I have to say although I am sure this will be confirmed, or otherwise, during the course of this week. Definitely so far so good though

Re:Son Of Franks Journal; T-Roid/H-Roid cycle ended & OTC PCT commenced 1/10/09 - 24 November 2009 22:53
Trained chest tonight and thought I would test my strength as I am now on day 6 of the 1T=Tren. Went as follows: -

Seated chest press            1 x 75kg x 12
(to warm up pecs)              1 x 95kg x 10

Nautilus (Bench) Press       1 x 120kg x 9
                                          1 x 140kg x 7
                                          1 x 152.5kg x 6 PB
                                          1 x 160kg x 5 PB

Incline Smith Bench            1 x 100kg x 7
                                           1 x 110kg x 6
                                           1 x  90kg x 9

Pec Dec Flyes                      1 x 75kg x 10
                                           1 x 80kg x 10
                                           1 x 80kg x   9

Really pleased with the 160kg for 5 reps and if it is down to the 1t-Tren and there is no reason to suggest it isn't, then I am very impressed with this product at this stage.

I weighed myself and was 19st 5lbs so I have added 2lbs. Due to the shift patterns of my girlfriend I have been unable to arrange photos but I do not look too dissimilar from the previous pics (regular journal).

Definitely a case of so far so good

Just a quick general update;

Didn't train last night but did go for a brisk 25 min walk up and down the mountain. Am training in about 2 hours time.

Have tried to take some pics on my mobile but they are very poor; my girlfriend is on a 3-11 shift tonight so I doubt she will feel like taking some by the time she gets in. Hopefully tomorrow.

Am gonna give Activate Extreme a try once the 1t-Tren runs out; have read some decent reviews on this product and I don't expect to be shut down too much in 3 weeks or so and I expect this product will do a decent job.

As mentioned my appetite has definitely increased this week and I am feeling pretty good generally. No sides at all so far.

                                                    1 x 90kg x  8
                                                    1 x 95kg x  6

Despite being ill today and very tired after yesterday I bit the bullet and went to the gym at 9pm. Trained shoulders: -

Seated front press (smith machine)    1 x 50kg x 10
                                                            1 x 70kg x 6
                                                            1 x 70kg x 5

Seated press behind neck                   1 x 85kg x 10
                                                            1 x 95kg x 10
                                                            1 x 95kg x 12

Nautilus front shoulder press             1 x 80kg x 10
                                                           1 x 120kg x 9
                                                           1 x 140kg x 7
                                                           1 x 150kg x 6

Side lateral dumbell raises                 1 x 15kg x 12
                                                           1 x 20kg x 10
                                                           1 x 20kg x 10

End of session. Given I really didnt fancy it I was pleased with the weight handled. Still seems to be going well.

Trained chest tonight:

Nautilus seated flat press         1 x 90kg x 12
                                                 1 x 140kg x 9
                                                 1 x 150kg x 7
                                                 1 x 160kg x 5 PB

Smith machine incline bench     1 x 90kg x 8
                                                 1 x 110kg x 7
                                                 1 x 115kg x 5

Pec Dec Flyes                           1 x 75kg x 10
                                                 1 x 85kg x 9
                                                 1 x 85kg x 10

Left it at that tonight as shoulders and forearms were sore from last night. Really pleased with the strength increase I am experiencing. No sides and appetite still up a little.

Jumped on the scales and weighed in at 19st 6lbs tonight.

Just back from a back and biceps session: -

Close grip pull down                        1 x 75kg x 10
                                                        1 x 85kg x 10
                                                        1 x 95kg x  9

Seated pulldown behind neck          3 x 75kg x 10

Wide grip pulldown to chest            1 x 75kg x 10
                                                        1 x 95kg x  8
                                                        1 x 95kg x  8

Seated close grip rows                    1 x 95kg x 12
                                                        1 x 95kg x 12
                                                        1 x 95kg x 11

Seated bicep curls (machine)           3 x 45kg x 12
                                                        1 x 55kg x 10

Standing cable curls                         1 x 65kg x 9
                                                        1 x 75kg x 8
                                                        1 x 75kg x 8

Nautilus bicep curls                          1 x 40kg x 12
                                                        1 x 60kg x  8
                                                        1 x 60kg x  6

Quite high volume tonight but had the rare luxury of a training partner so I think this pushed me further than I would have alone; would never usually do back and biceps together but forearm seems to be ok at the moment and only had the odd twinge tonight. Had plenty of energy too; not sure if this is anything to do with the 1t-tren or not.

Trained chest tonight:

Flat barbell bench press            1 x 60kg x 10
                                                 1 x 100kg x 8
                                                 1 x 100kg x 7

Incline dumbell flyes                 1 x 25kg x 12
                                                 1 x 27.5kg x 10
                                                 1 x 27.5kg x 10

Pec dec                                     3 x 85kg x 10

End of session. Was pushed for time tonight and only got to gym 35 mins before they shut so it was all a bit rushed. Hoped to increase flat bench but felt pain in my delts even on the warm up set so didnt push it at all. Used dumbells for once, which I have generally avoided for chest for the last couple of years due to persistent forearm problems. I started at 32.5kg dumbells but couldnt get them into postion!!! Clearly I am going to struggle with these types of exercise for a while in terms of weight due to poor stability (much the same as with barbell benching) but whilst my forearms are relatively free from pain whilst training I am going to persist and try to get to the bigger dumbells asap!!
