lol £5 a month is quality, having looked at uni gym theyre around £93 a year which is ok for when i go next year. I wish i could drive it all the time though tbh, but the walking does me good, doesnt cost on parking (only council car parks nearby) but just the time it takes plus after a heavy workout walking back isnt ideal, driving tonight though and staying in so all good.

Did a closer to home run. 1.5mile timed run - managed it in 8.39 today, pretty happy with that, ****ed by the end, but improvement on last time, want to get it down to 8minutes as a goal for a couple of months from now, but just trying to knock a little bit of time off each time!!

Hit FAKE BLOOD last night, absolutely insane music, shame about there being a fair few pricks out, but music and the night was insane (although getting very very drunk) Resting for most of the day recovering, hitting the gym this evening though then resting again i hope for the working weekend ahead

Icemansoldier Whats fake blood, a nightclub? What music they playing? Nah, hes a DJ/Music producer mate, one of my favorite acts (if not my favorite) plays sort of dirty electro/electro/house etc - really really good though, fair bit of his stuff on youtube, best tunes are probably Mars (also a gtronic remix that is class) Cheap and cheerful Stuck on repeat Anyway you chose to give it Look for the woman Restless I think i like it fix your accent the dozens marina gasolina (fake blood remix) Armand van helden (i want your soul) (fake blood remix) Is sort of one of those artists you may either love or hate though tbh. Same old for today, working, eating pretty well and just resting most of the time really.

Little mix i made if anyone fancies a listen - house/electro/dub/trance Only about my 5th one and changeover at 6.45mins lets it down, but done without headphones so a lot of guesswork as well as knowing the timings of some songs. Anyway give it a listen if you like. mix4.mp3 - 38.73MB

yeah is very housy lol (not sure on what the spelling of that should be ha) isnt great though, just made another one but is a lot more electro house orientated will upload it some other time, is a lot better but i didnt try so many complicated things with it, a few bits and bobs but just getting the basics right is the best start i think rather than do what i do and try to over complicate things!! Yeah well the LSD t-shirt probably didnt help ha but does stand for last state of dance (well thats what it says) but like people are going to take notice of that bit!!

Got a massive legs/back/biceps session in yesterday, was a real killer, doing that before goign out prob wasnt the best idea either, today is my full rest day, fancy going for a run but will be better just to rest most likely as runnign to and from the gym again for next 2 days. Anyway yesterdays session! Leg press 3x12 (155kg) Calf raise 3x20 (110kg) Leg curl 3x12 (70kg/lbs not sure which) Leg extension 3x20 (60kg/lbs again not sure which!) Bulgarian split squats 3x10 on each leg @ bodyweight - legs f8cked by this point couldnt face any weight Deadlift 3x12 (100kg) - felt pretty easy Inverted rows 3x20 (Bodyweight) Lat pull down 3x10 (60kg) Seated row 3x12 (120lbs) Crunches 3x40 @ bodyweight Hanging leg raises 3x30 @ bodyweight Hammer curls 3x12 (17.5kg) 21's Made into 30's @ 25 kg Absolutely ruined by the end of it, fortunately had the car to get back home. Followed by 40g whey + 40g malto Just recieved my order of gaspari myofusion which i cant wait to get into, got a bit more of my sci-mentor stuff to get throguh first though. Also if anyone could give me a heads up on this. I dont really want to get much bigger and am eating around maintenance calories (a bit less to cut slightly) but some of my weights im lifting are feeling quite easy now, such as deadlifts at the weight im doing, but dont want to increase them too much as am happy with my size now, maybe add a few lbs but nothing drastic. I know adding size is mainly down to diet, and that probably seems like a stupid question, but would do you guys think? Increase the weight still and eat how I am, or keep the weight as it is?

Holy shi* huge session mate! I bet you were fooked after lol good job you had the car, i wouldnt fancy walking a few miles after legs lol What flavour of myofusion did you get mate? I might get some in choc soon. Surely if you eat around maintenance lifts shouldnt increase as quick as if you were eating more than maintenance, you wouldnt put on as much size anyway, you maybe use higher reps. If your eating maintenance and weight is going up then you will put on size too. Maybe lift the same but take less recovery time so you wont be able to lift as much. Up to you quite a dillemma lol

yeah exactly thats what i mean man cant work out what would be best, im doing a set of reps then about 45secs rest then going again, i try to steam through my workouts. Want to increase my lifts, but without eating enough then that will be harder, but then my lifts wont go up, but if i want them to go up mroe im thinking ill need to eat more and therefore put on mroe size which i dont really want to do!! yeah was so glad i had the car after doing all that. Got 1 choc and 1 strawberry, itching to use them but may as well finish what ive got currently before opening them, got a muscltech sample in vanilla so will see what thats like too!

switch to strength training? reps no more then 6 but obviously use HEAVY weights, tend to grow less drastically then on a hypertrophy routine eg, use 5x5 instead of 3x12. Base your lifts around the big 3 with little isolation work, check out jack5rs, T0NY's and iiank's journals for advice. and just carry on eating big!

Good point there mate, never even thought of strength training, have done it before but didnt get the size gains i was looking for at the time! Could be a good idea though mate, wil have a think, only thing that holds me back is i really enjoy the 3x10/13 rep range but cheers for the input, will have a good think.

Kind of agree about aiming for strength more. To be honest your quite strong, especially in the high rep range i.e. you barely go below 6-8 reps. This type of routine is clealry working for you hypertrophy wise.If you want to aim for strength the drop the reps, get rid of some of the isolation work and focus on the compounds, 3x5, 5x5, 4x6 rep scheme etc. Depends on what you want really. I'd stick with your current clean diet if you don't want to add any more mass. Just my 2 cents! Jimbo

James M Just had a look at your pics mate, you look lean!! Wish I could gain and be as lean as that. All comes with time and effort mate, keep working hard and eating well and you'll get there, tbh i think im slightly lucky in the fact that that my diet is pretty poor but still amke good progress (i drink way too much and dont eat as healthy as i should) just put maximum effort into my training. Cheers for the comments though man, still trying to improve that little bit more though (as always)

@ Ice Just tried some of my friends' myofusion and is pretty damn nice, was expecting it to blow my mind after the reviews though and sort of taste exactly like yop or soemthing, still tasted very very good though and one of the best tasting shakes ive tried (if not the best) Also tried my sample of muscletech nitrotech which was also very very nice, however due to the price wont be purchasing a tub. Anyway the myofusion stuff is definately worth getting as tastes fantastic (just not quite as good as i was expecting, but then amybe i set my hopes way too high after some of the reviews) looks a great product anyway looking at the labelling and ingredients etc

tried both the choc and strawberry, my mate wasnt too keen on teh strawberry so asked to try my choc which he like (was the best choc protein ive tried tbh - but not rly a fan of choc anyway) so have swapped and now got 2 strawberrys ratehr than one of each, may have to order another tub in though cos dont want just strawberry. Got any other good suggestions, been looking at the MP MAX stuff as thats meant to be tasty, also looking at syntha6 but is a bit pricier, just looking around though really.

Normal weekend really, lots of work, no training (bar loads of walking), relatively good eating, wrecked for saturday evening, not enough sleep for sunday work an recovering sunday evening, nothing changes. Getting back on properly over the week though, goign to leeds to visit on thursday and friday so diet may be a bit harder then but shouldnt be too bad i hope, will bring some shakes with me then just eat relatively well at other times. Not planning on going out this week either, bar a little gig on wednesday but isnt anything major, will need it in preparation for next week though with 2 birthday celebrations and MAJOR LAZER next thursday which should be insane, all UV painted up.

hey, cool thread mate, but one thing that ive noticed is you eat barely any carbs, apart from 1 portion of porrige and flapjack. are you still managing to gain weight? because your diet is my cutting diet! or is your goal to lean up?

Cheers man, yeah am cutting at the moment so eating a few less carbs, upped them a little now though, need to drop again slightly, starting my diet again properly on monday. Am quite happy with my size now, am around 14stone10 maybe a bit less @ 6ft2 1/2 and dont really want to get much bigger, ideally want to cut a bit mroe fat so lots of cardio at the moment then just maintain that and maybe improve little bits here and there just see what happens really¬!

I see mate, im getting some choc me thinks. Im more of of straw man, but i hear choc is fab. You already know about boditronics dont you, they have sweet and dull flavours, by dull i mean not too sweet and not too dull, doesnt make sense does it lmao, you know what i mean though lol. Think i might get some cocanut in of boditronics too to use with myofusion. What about unflavoured mate? Gotta say i got it off mp a few years ago and it was pretty much tasteless now it tastes worse, i need to add a good 4 teaspoons of nesquick to 3 scoops in 300ml water, tastes slightly better in milk. Syntha is way more expensive than the rest isnt it, too expensive for me anyway mate, but think its the shizzle tastewise.

Yeah i want to try syntha 6 but the price is a little steep, may go MP max stuff as thats meant to be pretty good! Personally i think the strawberry is a lot better than the choc mate, but then im not really a fan of chocolate, hardly ever even eat teh real stuff so.... Also with boditroincs its strange, i used to think their products tasted amazing, and they still taste good but dont seem to taste as good as they used to, maybe i got used to the flavours or something, but as you said a little dull or something.
