How do you stay the same? - 23 August 2009 12:32
Hello,

I'm not 44 (ouch) and have been getting a few injuries over the past few years. Pretty minor joint stuff but quite annoying.

I've been bulking and cutting lots in the past but thing the time has come when I'd like to stay the same (ish)

I'm 175lbs and am going to cut to 168 then want to stay there. This will give me a good toned appearence and quite defined.

Come holiday time etc I may do a bit more am pre breakfast cardio but not much more than that.

With footballers & other sports people, do they stay the same or are they always bulking etc?

I see it like this and would welcome any comments that could help me.

Find out how much I need to eat to remain the same weight

Find out what weights I can stick to to keep toned

Find out how much cardio, am or whenever, I need to do to stay the same

Thanks

I would suggest it's trial and error but keep it enjoyable for it to be maintainable. Allow yourself some days off. On the days you feel like doing more then do so. Try out some new forms of cardio.

Yes its going to be trial and error mate, less food initially more cardio to get down to your weight.
then a weekly watch as your intake of food starts, mirror mirror mirror imo.
Maintainance is all about balance but it must be kept enjoyable.
