I haven't seen Paul post on here for a while mate, think he's quite busy at the mo. I have used Henckels knives in the past, most excellent. Bit pricey though, but IMO a good investment.

I have alerted Paul about this message - he'll probably post when he's next on line - which is seldom of late

Hi, Yes James C. and RedHotF right I have been tucked up busy at work lately !! But I am still around. I have always believed in buying the best knives you can afford and look after them, and they will look after you!! I tend to have a mixture of makes/brands. I lean towards Global as they are razer sharp, well balanced and very well made. Also I use Gustav Emil Ern from Germany and I have a great versitile allrounder from Victorinx. Nisbets on line have a great range but you may need to have a look in your local harware/cook shop to get "the right feel". Then possibly go on line to find a better price. You may find a good "paring knife" and a "6 or 8 inch cooks knife" would be a good buy. SORRY all for not being around, time precious at the moment but will endevour to get back on line at Muscle Talk !!!!
