I wouldn't bother with anything like that, especially at your age.

Concentrate on eating well, every 2-3 hours. Lifting  heavy and getting plenty of rest.

The only supps I might suggest would be a whey protein supplement and possibly creatine

Your age has nowt to do with it, need, interest or anything else I can think of. But basic biology 101. Protein is made up of amino acids (stuff a 17 year old ought to know... ahem).

Some people take aminos as the most easy assimilated form of protein. But they taste foul and its far from being the cheapest way of taking protein.

Indeed much of this is in the info part of the product you linked to.

There is no best brand, aminos are aminos are aminos. Although the fewer things added to a product the better ie sugar.

For training purposes most people would consume a bcaa mix, these can be purchased from bulk suppliers for a reasonable price.

amino acids built twice as much muscle as whey protein in a recent study. both groups ingested a high protein diet and worked out 4 times per week.

That pretty much answered the question.

sugar helps creatine absorb better, and beta-alanine had greater uptake in fortnight with sugar compared to 4 weeks withoutout carbs.
lucozade sport is sugar and does £100m per year.
diabetics plunging in to a low sugar coma can be revived by ingesting tesco/asda etc  sugar mixed in water.

aminos are aminos? some don't mix, froth up, etc. some are very poor chinese quality. why don't you upgrade to soluble aminos-you may find your performance radically altered.

I fail to see what your point is about sugar. We're talking about amino products not lucozade.

BTW, Never had a problem with the solubility of my aminos.

I very much doubt anyones performance would be "radically" altered by a different amino brands with different solubility, the difference would be miniscule at best
