Re:Archie's First Ever Hdrol Cycle Journal - ideal reading for Newbies

Just a short update. Still on 75mg of Hdrol and will be for another two weeks. Absolutely no side effects whatsoever. My shoulders and upper body have certainly progressed well over this last week. Just wish my legs were doing better! Training going well with micro increases on weights. Might even bench 100kg for 5 or 6 in next two weeks! I'll let you know. Eating like a horse. Maintaining 3000 cals plus per day. Feeling less worried about middle. Have certainly put some fat on again but nothing to worry about. After the cycle I'll be reducing carbs little by little, running again and swinging a KB.

From a weigh in this morning I was rather shocked to note I'm at 13st 7. I am genuinely surprised!!! I know I am now bigger than before the cycle, okay my waist has grown a little, but my chest and shoulders moreso. I just hope my PCT maintains my gains. On another matter, I have run out of Milk Thistle!!! Must get some more tomorrow. I am still taking LIV.52 but know I need the additional Liver support.

I am really beginning to see the benefits of Hdrol. Last night a couple of guys in the gym even commented that I looked so much bigger and beginning to see my shape. Compliments are great. Thing is I ain't going to want to come off Hdrol now. I'm reckoning that PCT is a major climb down - cold turkey sort of thing.

The end of the Hdrol cycle is nigh. At the end of this week I will be starting my PCT. I have certainly been pleased with the results and sincerely hope that I may retain the gains I have made by following a quality PCT. Regrettably I have not kept this journal quite as up-to-date as I would have liked - apologies. However, I have throughout the cycle trained AT LEAST three times a week and eaten between 2800 and 3200 calories per day. Weighing myself this morning, I am a shocking 13st 8.

Whilst on Hdrol my lifts gained significantly and my body literally 'blew up' escpecially my shoulders. HDROL is excellent IMO. However, nearing end of PCT and gains have (not disappeared) but significanly reduced. I am disappointed that my gains were lost so quickly. Might try SD in Feb??

SD gains come thick and fast and you need be prepared to keep gains off that. I found i retained mass but strength went down near enough back to normal, if you keep intensity high and diet correct you'll be fine and keep most hopefully. Keep training your ass off and eating loads to make sure you keep your current gains, if not they will gradually decrease, im speaking from experience unfortunately :(
