Hi Daz
You were spot on mate, really. From what you were saying 9 days out I thought you were going to look poor. Just shows what a week can do. All 4 in your class were good and it was a tough line-up. Your second place was fair, but it could have gone either way. The guy was bigger than you with a nice shape, but you had better lines.
What next? Do you still want to qualifiy for next year's Finals?

Cheers ,dazc i am still sorting out my spelling on the post  . Yes i am still at the lower end of my class so the show goes on . The wife is cool with me now thank god. and taking of about her she has taken the phone to work that has some pics taken in the hotel on it. So pics will be up later today. Daz

Thanks James . Next ? as said i need more size as i still have a 7kg window to play with and am taking James L advice as what he help me with in 9 days what if he had 9 months to push me? Qualifiying is on the cards in time,but i was to start with this year aiming to do the EPF show under 85kg class which was called off ,could it be on next year? Even so i would of loved to of done the MT/UKBBF show next year,but i will book holiday if need and be there anyway. Thanks Daz

Well a week has almost gone by and rice cakes with peanut butter and milkywhey spread are a must!!! I have hit the gym a bit this week, Beis/tris /legs and massive pumps to a point i can only do less then half a workout so i am taking things slow. I got the first of my show pics and i am over the moon with them and i have more to come yet . Daz

Hi bud is that my class winner? If so i will be banging my tri,s and chest for the next year or so as they are some of your winning body parts . Thickness and of them tris and depth of your chest was great. Sorry i did not get time to have a back stage chat but when you have been off the Milkywhey spread for 2 month it does funny things to you mind I take my hat of to you,and PM or post on your road to the brits. whats your target for stage weight next year?
Well hitting legs loads as I am not training back ,delts till next year and only training chest , arms a little. But hit chest tonight and have some pain in left pec which my need looking at  its started last week when doing chest. Weight wise it took me 12 weeks to cut and i lost 12kgs and its taken me 2 week to put it all back on  but all abs are still on show nicely. I will be aiming to do The Stars UKBBF next year in London to do the 2011 Finals,but the Oct 2010 EPF show maybe on the cards which I will be in the 85kgs class and this time round i will be in the upping end of. So i am hopefull of putting on 3-4kgs if all goes well by next Nov 2010. Daz

Just out of interest, what was the bodyweight difference and bodyfat percentage difference between the pictures you posted on page 1 and the contest day pics mate?
Just wondering as the front shot from page 1 looks ripped as does the contest day, yet the back pic from page 1 to contest day is like day and night!! Do people generally carry more fat on there backs or it it just harder to shift etc?

Cheers stewede pics on page one i was about 93-92kgs and show day i was 82.3kgs as to BF% i have yet to get this done around or before show time.
For me, i was holding fat mainly around my lower back / and some in my lower glutes /hams.
This is were James L told me to look at (and not) how cut my abs or my sides are as this gave me a false picture of myself .

I was told i was not in shape (9 days out) and would find it hard or inpossible to get in shape for the show but this was the words i needed to hear and the best advice i could of had.
So I did what i was told and pulled out the best shape as i could.
It was hard doing 1hr CV at 4.30am and then a 12hr day shift .
That Tan still trips me up ,I had 3 coats Pro tan 5 Coats Jan Tana,maybe i needed 3 weeks of the Sunbed as kitty said on another post today..

why the pro tan first mate? i really like the jantana, the whole prep systen and tan. when did you start putting it on?
sunbed for a few weeks first is good as well, dries the skin a bit, and from people i talked to thats critical to getting a great tan

I just use Pro tan as a base tan/coat ,as i have used it with Dream tan for a few shows and was happy with it. I have used the sunbed as a base tan and that cost me over £40 . I also used the Jan Tana systen and i like this . I put 2 coats Pro Tan Friday night 2 more the next day in the morning and Sat evening I start putting the Jan Tana on. I think will go back to the sunbed for the next show if the money is free for it,and maybe hit it for longer now you have said that. Daz
