Iceman - haha, thanks man, yeah my legs are prob my strongest body part - only problem is there are only a few months of the year that I can wear shorts LOL.

Yeah the plan is to do a Dbol/test cycle early 2010. I was considering SD/Test, but I think I'll stick with the old faithful combo!

This is why I wanna drop some BF on this cycle of Hdrol, as I will def use the test to bulk.

lol

Ive actually got dbol and sd atm, but im going with sd as it didnt add lots of water rentention/bloat like dbol might, i hear some poeple saying it will blow you up like a balloon, i wanna stay leanish and not put on much fat you see. I know what im going to get from sd so i think ill just stick with that.

Yeah whether its dbol or sd with test gains should be really good!

Yeah it is not a bad idea at all TBH mate, I know Dbol can bloat you, but because I haven't properly used it, I guess I just wanna see how I respond, and then if I dont like it, will def use SD to kick start a later cycle.

Day 17

I am now on 3 11-test per day with the Hdrol, and my body seems to have gotten used to them now! i spread them out evenly through the day.

I am defo looking leaner, the abs are coming through nicely, just need the lower ones to show them selves again! (It's been a few months now so will be nice to see em again!).

I do find that I am very thirsty, so am drinking a fair old whack! I also find that I get quite gassy (mainly burps!) and my stomach growls like a biatch on an evening, but as I am trying to lean out with this cycle, I amapprehensive to eat more or add oats to evening shake.

Tonight I did 25 min cardio sesh... about 3 miles total, half on treadmill and half on cross trainer, so happy with that, I dont like to over do the cardio anyway as I am only just at maintenece cals (possibly a little less).

Cool mate, will be interesting to see how dbol/sd compares.

Glad that the test is working for you without sides now mate :D

I can dig up a log of someone that did a dbol/test cycle, his results were amazing, complete tranformatio, no pics, i mean he did a overall review.

Re:Product Log: Super Halo (Halodrol) / 11-Test stack. - 12 November 2009 20:54
Day 18

Chest and Tri's

Incline BB Bench Press -
Set 1 = 85kg 7 reps / Set 2 = 85kg 6 reps

Flat DB Bench Press - Set 1 = 40kg DB's 9 reps / Set 2 40kg DB's 8 reps

Decline BB Press - Set 1 = 90kg 10 reps / Set 2 95kg 6 reps

Cable Flyes - Set 1 = 15kg E/S 18 reps / Set 2 = 15kg E/S 18 reps

Cable Push Downs - Set 1 = 49kg 12 reps / Set 2 49kg 11 reps

Tricep Dips - Set 1 = Body weight only 22 reps / Set 2 BW only 22 reps

Felt a little stronger on certain exercises, decline bench felt easier especially, and managed to push more than usual amount of reps on dips, and considering this is at the end of my workout when tri's are RUINED I didnt think that was too bad at all!

Most lifts are increasing slightly every week but Hdrol is VERY subtle with strength gains! Don't expect to be increasing massively on lifts if you use this DS, but it is definately doing what I wanted it too.. recomping.

I'm pleased with the way this cycle is going up to now, although it is slow burner compared to the likes of SD.
I think in another 3 weeks, I will be looking a lot leaner with a little more lean mass, I will be happy with that, and any more strength increases will be a bonus.

On another plus side, I can say that Hdrol is very good on the sides, the back pumps have not really bothered me (when on SD they where a LOT worse) although I am using my taurine and eating plenty of bananas so Im sure that is helping.

Seems to be going well so far mate. Will be doing a recomp myself early next year I think and have never tried H-Drol so will be interested to see what the end results are. Some nice lifts too.

Thanks mate.

Yeah I'm hoping for some good results at the end of the 6 weeks, although if I were to run this compound again, I would either extend by 2 weeks, or increase to 100mg per day. for 6 weeks. Very mild compound, and gains are quite slow, but they are there!

lol very true mate :-)
Haven't been on for a couple of days, so I will start by updating with:
Day 18

Back and Bi's

Wide Grip Pull Ups - Set 1 = Body Weight 12 reps / Set 2 = +10kg 10 reps /
                                   Set 3 = +15kg = 7 reps

Deadlifts - Set 1 = 205kg 6 reps / Set 2  = 205kg 5 reps

Barbell Rows - Set 1 = 100kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 100kg 10 reps

Low Row (Narrow Grip) - Set 1 = 43.5kg 12 reps / Set 2 48.5kg 10 reps

DB Arm Curls - Set 1 = 26kg DB's 6 reps / Set 2 26kg DB's 6 reps

EZ Bar Preacher Curls - Set 1 = 30kg + Bar = 14 reps / Set 2 30kg + bar = 9 reps

I had a mad busy day at work on Friday, and was very tired and stressed by the time I was at the gym, and TBH the last thing I felt like doing was some heavy ass Deads, but dedicated as always, I turned up and got on with it lol.

Deads went ok, still managed to get 205kg up for an acceptable number of reps (I think), but I hurt my arm on the preacher curls, and old injury from using the EZ bar, and I wont be using this again for a while!

After Deads, I was wiped out TBH, and just did what I could for the rest of the workout.

Day 19

Did a little extra chest work and some cardio, just did WG Dips, some machine presses, pec dec, and then a 15 min run on the treadmill.

Just went light on the chest work and concentrated on getting a good stretch on the muscle with high reps.

My weight is sticking around 14.12 ish, but that doesn't tell the true story at all as my abs are reall starting to show, and muscles are harder, more defined etc, but I'm sure this will show when I take measurements at the end.

Day 20

I went out last night as it was a mates wedding do, and as I'm sure you can imagine, I had a few pints lol ( and the rest ).

Anyway, dont feel too bad at all today, and I took plenty of milk thistle before going out, and lots of water too, and did the same when I got back home (im sure it helped).

One bad thing is that I went and got a chicken kebab on the way home, and munched that down befor bed... ah well, one cheat meal is ok I guess :-)

No gym today (Sunday is the only day I dont go at the minute lol), so a well deserved rest day is in order.

Day 21

Last night I had a TERRIBLE nights sleep... felt tired at work today, but I still went to the gym...

Shoulders and Abs

DB Shoulder Press -
Set 1 = 34kg 8 reps / Set 2 = 34kg 8 reps

Machine Shoulder Press - Set 1 =  75kg E/S (full stack) - 7 reps / Set 2 = 75kg E/S 8 reps

DB Front Raises - Set 1 = 14kg DB's 15 reps / Set 2 = 14kg 15 reps

DB Side Lat raises - Set 1 = 14kg DB's 14 reps / Set 2 = 14kg 14 reps

Rear Delt DB Raises - Set 1 = 10kg DB's 14 reps / Set 2 = 10kg 14 reps

DB Shrugs - Set 1 = 46kg DB's 14 reps / Set 2 = 46kg 12 reps

Up Right  Cable Rows - Set 1 = 38.5 kg = 15 reps / Set 2 = 42.5kg 12 reps

ABs = Decline weighted crunches  2 sets of 30 reps
Leg Raises 2 sets of 2 reps

Not bad considering I was running on about 2 hours sleep from last night, I will try and increase on the shoulder press next week.

Cheers Ice... Yeah Deads wiped me out massivley LOL

The injury is inded the forearm, although not something that is causing me any real pain/problems with other exercises.

I find the EZ bar puts too much strain on my tendons in my forearm, and TBH I'd not actually used it much within the last 3 months as I previously injured myself using it.

Lesson learned now though, and I would advise any one else using the EZ bar for curls/preacher curls, to not go too heavy on this, and stick to DBs for your heavy sets.

Thanks guys, yeah it's sh!t training with little sleep, and unfortunately I'v had a few nights like it this week.

Day 22 - Legs

Again, another rubbish nights sleep, 2 nights on the trot so was feelin knackered by the time  got to the gym.

Squats - Set 1 = 160kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 160kg 10 reps

**You will prob notice that I dropped the weight on squats, this was for 2 reasons;

1. I was very tired, and not feeling my strongest 2. I wanted to make sure my squats where hitting parralel so I got 10 very good reps out and will increase again next week.

Stiff Legged D/L (strapless)- Set 1 = 140 12 reps / Set 2 = 150 7 reps

Leg Press - Set 1 = 330kg 14 reps / Set 2 = 330kg 14 reps

Calf Raise (on the leg press) Set 1 = 300 18 reps / Set 2 = 320kg 17 reps

Leg Extension - Set 1 = 95kg (full stack) 20 reps / Set 2 = 95kg 20 reps

Calf Raise - Machine. Set 1 = 65kg (full stack) 18 reps / Set 2 = 65kg 18 reps

Actually a really good session considering another bad nights sleep! Makes ya wonder how well I'd ahev done WITH sleep LOL.

Squats will go up next week, I just like to make sure that I get a good clean rep out.

Funnily enough i think i have the same problem as you re the forearm, i got a sharp pain when performing ez's heavy once and i couldnt do them heavy again, its affect bb abit but no other exercises thank god, ive added in abit of forearm work now maybe my forearms are abit weak, but they should be nice and strong from other exercises we perform. Im fine doing them on preacher bench though, so far. I had the problem when i was standing doing them heavy.

Looks like standing heavy ez's are a no no for me lol

Iceman - Yeah I think it is just the strain on the tendons, rather than weak forearms, because like you say, all the other excersises should make sure that we have nice strong forearms :-)

I'm just staying away from EZ bar curls now, I also had a problem with my forearm doing skullcrushers, so have stopped doing them for now too lol.

Day 23 - Chest and Tri's

Red = PB

Incline BB Press -
Set 1 = 85kg 8 reps / Set 2 = 90kg 5 reps

Flat DB Press - Set 1 = 40kg 9 reps / Set 2 = 42kg 7 reps

Decline BB Press - Set 1 = 95 kg 6 reps / Set 2 = 95kg 7 reps

Cable Flyes - Set 1 = 12.5kg E/S 20 reps / Set 2 = 12.5 kg E/S 20 reps

Cable Push Downs - Set 1 = 49kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 56kg 6 reps

Tricep Dips - Set 1 = 28 reps / Set 2 = 28 reps

Good session, feeling a little stronger on most things now, all lifts are up from previous week, be that weight or reps. I dont go for poundage on flyes though, just a good stretch.

Dips I just seem to able to go and go! which is wierd as my triceps take a beasting on my chest workout!

Also, I had no spotter tonight! I almost messed up on the incline press! just managed to rack it in time pheww! LOL. Everything else was cool though.

I wanna really try and cut up over my last 2.5 weeks of cycle, so gonna chop the cals a bit I think.

haha thanks man, yeah it is dangerous really, esp when going for PB's.... but I just thought I'd give it a try lol.

It's wierd though, because sometimes when you have a spotter there, and you know they will help you, you dont always push yourself quite so much. That's what I find anyway.

Day 25

Yesterday I didn't do any training. Had a funeral to go unfortunately, that is why I trained Mon Tues and Weds, so I could have Thurs off.

Anyway, back training today, and it was pretty good.

Back and Bi's - Red = PB

Deadlifts - Set 1 = 200kg 7 reps / Set 2 = 210kg 4 reps

Wide Grip Pull Ups - Set 1 = +15kg 7 reps / Set 2 = +15kg 6 reps + 6 reps BW straight afterwards

DB Rows - Set 1 = 40kg 12 reps / Set 2 = 40kg 10 reps (didn't use straps but will up weight next week and use them)

Low Row Machine - Set 1 = 80kg 12 reps / Set 2 = 90kg 10 reps

DB Arm Curls - Set 1 = 26kg 7 reps / Set 2 = 26kg 7 reps

Cable EZ bar curls - Set 1 = 37.5kg 10 reps / Set 2 = 35kg 10 reps

Pleased with the PB on Deads, I've done 210kg before, but could only get 2 decent reps out, so this is a good improvement :-)

My forearms where hurting again on machine curls, thought the clip on EZ bar would be ok as it was on cable, but it wasnt, so had to drop the weight.
Will stick to the straight bar next week and see how things go.

Back is looking sick at the moment! it is always my fave part of my body anyway and I put this down to heavy deads that I do every week, but traps seem to have come on a little more, and as i am a little leaner, it looks more defined, so I'm pleased with this.

Day 26

Today I will be going to do some extra chest work, abs, and cardio.
Extra chest work is just pretty light and really concentrating on getting a nice squeeze on the muscle, and I leave my heavy presses for Thursdays!

Just to update on the sides, i've not really had any sides at all apart from the sleep probs at the begining of the cycle, but that was the 11-test, not the Hdrol.

Acne has not been as much of a problem with this cycle, but I am also taking tetracyl ATM which will be keeping it away.

Not noticed an increase in hairloss, and I am prone to this.

Aggression has not been too bad either, small increases here and there but you just have to control it as well as poss.

Back pumps have not really been a prob as of yet, I can feel them a little now and then, but NOTHING like SD lol they had me almost doubled up sometimes on that stuff!

BP I have not checked since a couple of weeks ago, and it had risen considerably, I do feel like my BP is higher, That may sound weird, but I just get this feeling of pressure in my head, and it's always when my BP is high.
I am taking hawthorne berries for this.

As I have mentioned previously, I am now looking to lean out as much as poss over the last 2 weeks of this cycle, so I will be cutting carbs down a little I.E not as much pasta with my lunch, and not as many new potatoes with my tea.

I still need the carbs no doubt, and I'm not gonna cut them completely, but just limit them somewhat, otherwise I will be too hungry!

Day 27

Today is a well deserved rest day, athough diet has been very good, as I previously mentioned, I am cutting the carbs down to try and cut through the last 2 weeks of cycle.

Had 2 nice comments from the 2 women in life (Girlfriend and Mother lol) who have both told me that I am looking bigger, esp shoulders, arms, and back. Well a comliment is a complemant so I'll take them both thankyou! :-P
