H-Drol/Tren - Strength gone through the roof.. - 29 October 2009 10:58
I was going to wait until the end of my cycle and write up a review but having just come to the end of week 3 of a 6 week cycle I cannot believe how much my strength has gone up. All my friends have also noticed that I am looking a lot more pumped so all in all I cannot believe how much has happened in 3 weeks!
 
I have been weight training on and off for around 3 years now and had recently kind of hit a plateau. I won't give full results and will wait until the end review but just a few observations so far..
 
The most I have ever bench pressed was 75kg for 8 reps, just before my cycle I was only benching 70kg for 8 reps as I had a shoulder injury during the summer and had let my training and nutrition fall apart a bit. So just a taster of how my strength has gone up in only 3 weeks of a HD (75mg ed) and Tren (90mg ed) cycle. Will post full details of training/nutrition/results at the end of the cycle.
 
Pre-cycle
Bench press - 70x8, 70x8, 70x8, 70x8
Incline dumbbell press - 26x6, 26x6, 26x6, 26x6
Dumbbell shoulder press - 18x8, 18x8, 18x8, 18x8
EZ-Bar curls - 27.5x8, 27.5x8, 27.5x8, 27.5x8
 
Week 1
Bench press - 75x8, 75x8, 75x8, 75x8
Incline dumbbell press - 28x8, 28x8, 28x8, 30x6
Dumbbell shoulder press - 20x8, 20x8, 20x8, 20x8
EZ-Bar curls - 27.5x12, 27.5x12, 27.5x12, 27.5x10
 
Week 2
Bench press - 80x6, 80x5, 80x5, 80x 5
Incline dumbbell press 30x8, 30x8, 32x6, 32x5
Dumbbell shoulder press - 22x8, 22x8, 22x8, 22x8
EZ-Bar curls - 32.5x8, 32.5x8, 37.5x5, 37.5x4
 
Week 3
Bench press - 80x8, 85x6, 85x5, 85x3
Incline dumbbell press - 32x8, 32x8, 34x6, 34x4
Dumbbell shoulder press - 24x6, 24x6, 24x6, 24x5
EZ-Bar curls - 37.5x8, 37.5x8, 37.5x6, 37.5x7
 
The funny thing is I set myself a goal of reaching 80kg bench press for the first time by the end of the cycle, now looks as though it will be above 90kg. Very happy with the cycle so far, and other than a few spots, cramps and back pumps no bad side effects at all..
 
For weeks 5 and 6 I am seriously considering upping the HD to 100mg ed.

Cycle is as follows:

Week 1 - 50mg Stealth Labs HD, Taurine, Milk Thistle
Week 2 - 75mg Stealth Labs HD, Taurine, Milk Thistle
Week 3 - 75mg (HD)/90mg (Tren) Stealth Labs HDT, Taurine, Milk Thistle
Week 4 - 75mg (HD)/90mg (Tren) Stealth Labs HDT, Taurine, Milk Thistle

Weight gain has only been around 4-5 pounds so far but muscles definately look more defined and bigger. Could possibly have put on more but have been keeping calorie intake at maintenance level and doing three 60 minute cardio sessions a week.

sounds good and just what im looking for. how does it affect the cardio? get any bad pumps when, say, running?

any chance you can keep us updated on your progress in this thread? id love to know your final results

I've been getting pretty bad back pumps this week but mainly on the walk home from work. I'm sure it has something to do with sitting down at my desk all day. Slight shin splints too.

Cardio hasn't really been affected that much, but then I only do low intensity cardio nothing too intense..

Jesus its like your on SD or something, that awesome strength gains. 90mg tren did shi* all for me, going to try 120/130mg next time.

Yeah the strength gains are good but it's probably not fair to suggest that my bench has jumped from 70kg to 85kg in just 3 weeks. I did take it pretty easy at first, and just having the compounds in me probably gave me a lot of the motivation to lift heavier. I think it would be realistic to say that I would have struggled with 80kg before the cycle so there has definately been strength gain, and more to come hopefully..

I'm not sure how effective the tren is, I added the tren at week 3 and my strength and increased but that could just be done to the general idea that people say H-Drol take a couple of weeks to kick in.

Great results mate. I remember my first HD cycle @ 75mg ED... took me from 70KG to 90KG on bench press and the strength remained after the cycle as well.

Upping it to 100mg made no real difference to me...

Started another cycle of HD this week... Aiming to reach 100KG on the bench and I'll be happy :-D
